You should still try the Percept 97D as it is the most control oriented in the lineup and you seem to like the dense string pattern. You might really like the 100D as well. Heard its a flat shot monster.
This is probably the review I've waited for the longest. Heard that the Percept is similar to the Pro Staff, and was considering switching at a time. Grisha's racket reviews are always the easiest to watch for me. Straight to the point, good information, and entertaining. P.S: Please re release the gladiators merch 🙏
Stan the Man doesn't actually use the 97H, he plays with the V-core 95D which is no longer manufactured! It amazes me the racket manufacturers can still get away with this fraudulent marketing practice. Why is Stan the Man only endorsing the 97H and not switching to it, if its better than his current racket of choice?
it makes perfect sense for a pro not to switch every year or even for years when they are used to their old sticks so I wouldnˋt waste too much time on this
@@headandshoulders4450 I understand, most pros will use the same racket they started with as junior players right through their pro career and not only that but the vast majority of them are using pro stock frames which are not even available to the public. Its the fraudulent way these manufacturers market their product, I don't agree with!
Wawrinka isn't using even VCORE PRO. He is using old VCORE 95D mold. And total weight is around 370g with strings, lead tape and leather grip + overgrip.
absolutely love this racket's balance. I usually play with 340-350g rackets.... this racket feels like it is 330g STRUNG. So easy to wield it for something considered heavy. The balance really makes it good for wristy double handed backhands.
Seems like the weight distribution is more reasonable with this one than previous generations? I remember in the VCore Pro 97 330 review, Niki found it way too heavy.
Hi im currently using yonex RD8 a very old model for years already with a 16x19 string pattern and 320 grams (strung). And i want to update it to percept. I am torn between 97d and 97h. I want 97h since it has the same string pattern to my rd8 but im worried that it might be too heavy for me. And as for the 97d the weight is ideal but its string pattern is 18x20. Will that make a big difference from my current rd8 racket if i switch. Your suggestions would greatly help.
Thanks guys! excellent review 🙏 the best comment I saw about these green racquets was some guy put pink strings in his and said it looked like a watermelon 🍉 haha 😂

Love the new upload times!
Thanks!
Nice video mate 🥃
Great review! Always a fan of Yonex. Please try the 100D if you can, I haven't played with a better racket than that.
Will definitely do!
@GladiatorsTennis Awesome! I can't wait for the review!

All companies are doing this. What is dumb is…. Why don’t they just keep selling that racket
Did no one else see that dog wonder on to the court . Ima need sum back story geisha
Ok, what’s your recommendation of rackets for people that have big kickers? I found the exact same issues with the older versions of that frame.
Nice review i think its close to a pro staff 97 same beam weight string patern balance etc

That's why they sayd endorsed by.. not used by
@@sergiocoser87 yeah, my bad. I thought he said "used". Idk what I heard.

0:12 ahahaha
At 4.19, the dog ahah. Nice. Love the camera angle.
Love playing on turf with sand. So nice to slide and easier on the joints. Also, balls usually sat up in right in the hitting zone.
Love it as well. This one was very slippery tho!
@@gladiatorstribe Yeah, too much sand is not great. But clay shoes or shoes with OC soles can help.
Nice review on the Percept.
Sorry, but that's the worst tennis surface EVER!! Ball skids though, doesn't bounce properly etc.
@@thecat4272 Kinda like grass. Makes it fun. Wimbledon > US Open... 😉
@where-we-roam Nothing like grass. Grass is great to run on and the ball is much more consistent. Artifical grass is awful.

That Chihuahua is giving me anxiety
She’s good 😂
You should try the 97D. More spin and power than expected.
Will do for sure!!
That's such a strange court surface? Artificial turf with sand on top of it?
Love the dog 🐾

I'd recommend getting the normal 97 and if it weighs too little adding a bit
great review. thinking of demoing this one for sure.
Give it a shot for sure!!
please percept 100D
