Fun fact, the blue light from when a protoss is killed is actually a teleporter built into their armor that brings them to the nearest nexus for medical treatment.
Zeratul is Nerazim. He was on Aiur when he died, and since he was not originally part of the invasion, he probably had no where to teleport to. Or maybe Amon damaged him too much so he couldn't teleport anywhere and live.
@@thecommentguy9380 Zeratul is a Nerazim, they often turn into dust when they die or when they do a ritual to turn into dust and transfer their essence into a Stalker shell.
Onr thing I'll say is that the Xel'naga had perpetuated the cycle many times, the zerg and protos merging would have resulted in a new generation but they wouldn't have been the first success story.
Hey AcidGlow, can you do a lore and history of the Chimera from the Resistance game series? Not many people know about this game or remember it that much, but I had played the first two games and enjoy it as much I can remember.
Where can I go to actually learn more about these species? I would like to know more such as life's styles(without war), weaknesses, how they repodose, they're organs and body features, they're culture(not just religion and tech which may also be life style as well.) the variety of they're species and personalitya(do protoss have different voices?,are some protoss smaller or taller then they're average heights? are they normally the same skin color?) how do they speak? all of this fascinates me and I would love to learn more about them
AcidGlow I just bought Ultra Street Fighter IV because of your videos. I really enjoyed them! You should play it again even though there are a lot of other new fighting games
fun fact is Starcraft is supposed to be an Warhammer 40K game, but along it's development 40K just scrapped the idea, then blizzard team insist to finished the game later it named as Starcraft hence why there so much similarity with character
Not big problem for me, but you are spelling some things wrong. Like amon, tal'darim and nerazim. Also why is there no mention of annihilators and vanguards? The immortal-like mechanical units of nerazim and tal'darim.
Blizzard definitely took a lot of inspirations and have a bunch of cultural references, Starship Troopers even. Aside from the voice line easter eggs, fun fact; the Marine during the original beta/development was called a "Marauder" (Not to be confused with SC2 Marauder) - the same way Starship Trooper Marauders are basically these overpowered super soldiers in armor
One idea was that they do not reproduce in such a gradual, biological fashion, but rather they fuse the psionic energies of male and female to create an infantile member of their species. Accounting for energy consumption per reproductive process, the could conceivably produce countless new members of their species which could all be self-sufficient and able to grow on their own. This would also remove any unseemly impulses by the xenophiliac crowd 😑
I am EAGERLY, SINCERELY awaiting the day Blizzard announces a SC sequel after LOTV. and on that day I'm comin to your channel to see what new video you got in store, dear sir
Fahmid Sarwar after nova covert ops the development team said they aren't doing any more starcraft games and the story will be continued in books and comics
Not quite. The Nerazim have more purple coloration than the bluish Khalai (aside from Zeratul, but we can probably chalk that up to age), and the Tal'Darim are much paler than both, almost albino in coloration.
I used to love the protoss as a kid until I fought against them in skirmish and realize that AI protoss is a cheap cheating asshole with infinite APM, and they ignore fog and they drop psionic storms, illusions and disruption webs endlessly and obnoxiously without the need for scouting. But I suppose without them no one would experience the fun and joy of terran sim city and wall ins.
I mean... maybe a little. But its not as heavily inspired as say the culture of morrowind. Idk. Im no expert on such a diverse religion tho. Just an expert on dark elven culture.
Tbh protoss is what id imagine nordic paganism would have morphed into with the evolution of technology. Very warlike. Honor and duty as a self service. Not just community service... if that makes sense.
*You require additional PYLONS!! ✅😀 What was your favorite species in this game?*
Last Video ruclips.net/video/T8s5B98tJtk/видео.html
need more mineral :P
Zerg will alway be the best for me.
My favorite is the Protoss, I like how honorable and brave they are.
True that
Do the Zerg Next
Fun fact, the blue light from when a protoss is killed is actually a teleporter built into their armor that brings them to the nearest nexus for medical treatment.
You are right. And they can chose if they want to become a dragoon or die and merge with the Khala.
I feel like that's a retcon because their critters would dissipate like that too when killed.
What about Zeratul?
Zeratul is Nerazim. He was on Aiur when he died, and since he was not originally part of the invasion, he probably had no where to teleport to.

Glory to the first born!
*Yay, my favorite race to play as in Starcraft.*
Also I would to see a crossover with AvP.
I'm all for the swarm...
*mutation complete!*
i remember always had a chill when a Templar shout "POWER OVERWHELMING"
Onr thing I'll say is that the Xel'naga had perpetuated the cycle many times, the zerg and protos merging would have resulted in a new generation but they wouldn't have been the first success story.
My life for Aiur!
I like shakuras more
My Aiur for life
The more resemble the Eldar from Warhammer 40k and the Tyranid from Warhammre 40k, the Xelnaga are I guess close to the Old Ones
That’s cause they were originally going to be that
Awesome video dude. Keep up the good work.

There isnt any video that cover it, but the fandom page has everything
Holy F.... I came to this video expecting tons of lore mistakes, but you totaly nailed it!! Keep up the good work
Just for doing a Protoss lore video, subscribed. 😁
AcidGlow I just bought Ultra Street Fighter IV because of your videos. I really enjoyed them! You should play it again even though there are a lot of other new fighting games
Carlos, would you recommend Starcraft?
Do a zerg lore
"What is best? To crush the Zerg, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of the Protoss"
Straight out of Conan
The protoss are my favorite race in starcraft.
I thought the same thing about protoss and zerg being like the predator and alien
Hey acid.. do more starcraft vids please!
Great video.
I would suggest working on the pronunciations as they were presented in the game, but other than that, good job.
Nerazim have their renowned Dark Templars. If undetected, they can destroy any base beyond all recognition! A bunch of invisible rowdies... wahaha=)))
Their favorite pass time is harassing their enemies mineral line :3
Great video keep on doing do the zerg too .
blizzard guys who created this idea really did a great job
its not something new, but its done very well
OH GOD I LOVE starcraft!
There are a lot of Protoss units that are cripple pilots, most notable are the dragoons, Immortals and the Stalkers (maybe)
Keep up the good work
As a 40k fan, the Protoss do have similarity to the Eldar. And the Zerg definitely give off a Tyranid vibe.

aside from some mispronouncing, liked the video
My life for Aiur!!!
Your voice is so soothing 😂
Thanks 🤗
Weren't the Khalei the engineer cast of the Daelaam?
YAUTJA SPECIES EXPLAINED or the PREDATORS, Predators and Protoss are the same. 😉 while the ZERGS ARE XENEMORPHS..
My favorite unit in starcraft is the Zealot.
we can build three species armies with Protoss... using Dark archon
mine is the Immortal
How do they reproduce
One idea was that they do not reproduce in such a gradual, biological fashion, but rather they fuse the psionic energies of male and female to create an infantile member of their species. You know all that blue stuff that comes off of the Archons?
Yeah thats not energy.
Can you do one on the zerg
yay starcraft
when a Protoss dies, they don't disappear, they are transported to a safe area,
I am EAGERLY, SINCERELY awaiting the day Blizzard announces a SC sequel after LOTV. and on that day I'm comin to your channel to see what new video you got in store, dear sir
but you gotta pronounce the names right, it kills the buzz of the story
Fahmid Sarwar after nova covert ops the development team said they aren't doing any more starcraft games and the story will be continued in books and comics
Starcraft I like playing a game
I long for combat. For Adun!
You should look to start raft for more content
And Warcraft.
Yes "Start Raft"
How did they reproduce though?
Protoss is the poor man's Eldar
You guys (who play video games as I did) better study Dan Winter's work. Reality is more intriguing than any video game.
I just want them to give us primal zerg as playable :(
Can you imagine no longer need of eating or drinking no longer need to talk.
*P O W E R O V E R W E L M I N G*
Oddly in SC1, Protoss have various skin colours, yet in SC2 they are all blue.
Not quite. The Nerazim have more purple coloration than the bluish Khalai (aside from Zeratul, but we can probably chalk that up to age), and the Tal'Darim are much paler than both, almost albino in coloration.

Probe are the workers of the protoss
The Protoss remind me of eldar, and Zurg remind me of Tyranids
Zerg*
Why does the joke that the protoss have no chicks have to be explained?
References???
Do they have to shit or piss? How are they born?
How thfck they eat!!!!!!!!!
There are similarities with hinduism

Why do all these people keep calling the khala a religion? Or is that the closest word you possess to describe something like that.
