Hydraulic press channel crushed an hydraulic press with a hydraulic press that got crushed with a hydraulic press that got crushed with a hydraulic press
You know he has to send it back to the company and then they are just going to melt it down and put it back in that bar form, win-win for both of them...
Not true, it hasn't been melted down and mixed with anything different, placing gold under pressure does not alter its composition, at most, it would need to be melted down, recast, and resealed.
it doesn't lose purity, the weight remains the same, you can melt it pour it into a mold and..there you go. Of course it will not look the same as initially looked but the value it' in inta weight and purity not in the look.
The value of the ingot is partly based on the fact it's an ingot and the fact that it's 99,9999% pure. If you smash it with a press and smear it on a steel surface you put imperfections in it. It's still worth a lot just not as much as the ingot

Jybran Gul There will some cost smelting it back into a gold bar again. It’s now uncertified and the serial number is gone etc. it definitely did go down in value. Maybe 5%

no, its about its weight not shape. if he'd get all the gold pieces he could sell it for same price, regardless melting gold into a mould doesnt cost 29,000 pounds.
yeah, itd just need to be melted into a mould, if you have the mould all you need to do is heat it up, and i'm pretty sure he sent it back to the company after this video regardless who could do all of that
1. The bullion has a value in itself because the maker puts his reputation at stake when making it and selling it. So the RUclipsr bought the bullion with a premium that he instantly lost. 2. When you crush it like this, you are losing small amounts of gold 3. The bullion is not pure anymore 4. The buyer will consider the price of making a new pure bullion when buying it. Conclusion: After being crushed, the bullion will certainly be bought about 20 to 25% less than the price of the spot. The guy certainly lost $8-10K dollars. That's certainly you who don't know what gives the value to a bullion.
People act like the gold is only worth money while in the actual "Bar" form. It's still the same amount of gold, worth the same amount. Doesn't matter what form it is.
Doesn't it lose some value by not having a clear marking any more? Before that the marking gives it some credibility as to its purity etc. So one would have to have it analyzed again.

Because they can turn around and SELL IT FOR MORE MONEY than they paid! [/obvious] Buy crushing it, you've undone all that work. actually, one kilo of gold right now is currently 37,744 dollars, so only three thousand dollars were used. And if each 1 thousand views generates 1 dollar (normally it is closer to 3 dollars), then he will have made 10,000 dollars off the video. an overall profit of 7,000 dollars.

Well, in the shape it was in before it was definitely cast and then polished, so you'll have some metal loss from the polishing process, not too much though.
What was the title before he edited? Right now it's "Crushing $40,000 GOLD BAR with Big Hydraulic Press!" And it's pretty straight forward. So I'm assuming he changed it or no?
Candi Soda most titles are over exaggerated or untrue too catch viewers attention. No one has ever crushed a $40k gold bar before with a hydraulic press which has me automatically assume it's click bait and also has 230+ other people assume the same thing.
Well it tecnically did, this is because he added an unofficial hallmark (the crushit hallmark) to the gold, making it worth a little bit less, although this barely changes the price. If we are talking 100% fact here you are incorrect. It also means that if he really wanted to sell it, he would have to re-hallmark it to one of the 4 official assay offices, this costs about 250-350 euros. And if he does not put a official assay office hallmark, it would be illegal, he will also have to put back the sponsors hallmark, as it sent it to him, and he MUST have it back on before reselling it, and he will have to re-hallmark the standard hallmark, the one that shows the purity of the gold (in carats).
@Lehione It now has to be reprocessed back to pure .9999, also no longer being in bar form is a loss of value, due to premiums of gold sold in bar and coin format.
I can buy a kilo bar from my dealer for $100 over spot, not per ounce but $100 premium for the entire bar so it's not much of a premium. If I was to crush it I could easily sell it back to my dealer at spot price but since it was crushed I would have to get it assayed first which would only cost me $30 and less that $2 in gold that was shaved off to preform the assay test. In total you would only take a hit of $132
Omg he's crushed expensive metal which can be heated and then shaped to its original shape and value. Due to my lack of knowledge in Gold I will now get very angry and assume that this gold is now ruined and complain about children in Africa who could've ate that gold, but instead they mined it to boost their countries economy and therefore improve their lives! Now I will dislike this video and congratulate myself for improving the world one meaningless RUclips comment at a time, instead of donating money to those charities which help children in Africa. Ps. Kids shouldn't mine the gold but fuck deleting that shit
This 1kg gold baren is now about 60k worth… so crazy that nobody talk, how the gold price startet grown up. They all talk to much about crypto and forget this
why bother just go to a bank and sell it to them since you need a official stamp from a bank to be taken serious it dosent matter if you bring them the crushed piece
Gold is actually one of the most malleable substances on earth. It can be stretched so thin that it's actually translucent... NASA actually lines Astronauts helmet visors with it to stop radiation but they can still see thru.
Scrimjaw that's exactly what I was thinking! Figured it might have lost a gram or maby even gained a little from the head rubbing off on it. Not knowing this bothers me just a little!!!
No doubt you're looking at "top comments" view, where you only see the intelligent comments that have been upvoted. The flood of comments when the video first went up by the morons who think the gold has been destroyed have been buried due to low votes. If you look at "Latest first" you can still see the morons coming in in real time, like this rocket scientist "are u stupid omg why give it to mee stop stop destroy things".
TerrifiedTam the weight, form and purity of the gold makes the value. The weight is the same, but it got deformed which would make t lose a bit of value. It lost about $100-400 or more from when he took the gold out of the vacuum seal which dropped the purity down to 99.7 and the fact that he crushed it with steel would drop the purity even more.
Eh not exactly. A lot of value from gold comes from how refined it is. Im sure impurities from the press head managed to make its way into the metal. It wouldn't be hard at all to refine it again if he had a way to melt it down.
JC_mcsR53 Both of you are fools!! What made it so expensive is the engraving which is similar to when a designer custom builds a piece of jewellery for a Customer.. Originally a kilo of gold is approximately about USD$29,000.00 so the $40,000.00 is actually an augmented price due to the design and embossing.. I am a jeweller take it from me. Kids.
kevin stevensun It's quite ironical tbh. This guy has a minecraft image as his profile picture, and we all know that there definitely isn't like a million minecraft let's players. Definitely not...
Depends. The gold value is the same, but people might not trust his deformed bar as much as the original - the original might have commanded a better premium. Or he might have actually increased it's value, if someone considers it art or something.
Yeah, but it takes time and effort (i.e. money) to melt it down and reshape it though. It's obviously not a huge loss of money to crush the gold bar, but realistically some money is being lost.
+Default Hero dam I wish I had the time to do that all day. Must be nice living off the government you trailer trash piece of shit. I didn't know you can pay for internet with food stamps. Bet your in tears trump is is. Going to have to take a drug test to get your food stamps now!
I thought the 100 ton would have more impact (har har) than it did. They should send it over to the big press guys before they send it back to the gold dealers.
could you link which one your referring too? in the recommendations on the right I see " Hyrdraulic press VS "... " Hydraulic Press The Crusher" and several other channels. so unsure which one you might referring to. thanks.
moiseman No.. It can be sold for the exact amount, if it's real solid gold, it will always be sold for its weight. Why would people mine for gold themselves if it was "worth less" than a perfect minted bar with certification lol
Maze of Encryption that poem was "golden!" There was a lot of "weight" to it. It sure did "shine" with hope for gold lives. 😆😂XD I just can't stop! This comment is too "rich" with puns! XD XD XD I guess you could say I struck a pun "gold mine!" XD XD XD XD XD😆😆😆😆😆😂😂😂😂😂
Ron Jones no money was lost in the making of this video, it's still gold, just disfigured, the price of gold is based on weight and quality, not aesthetic looks.
yeah exactly. he probably had to send it back to them. advertising is to MAKE money. no one in their right mind would donate $40,000 for a single youtube shout out.
It's lost SOME value. That "writing" on the gold bar assures me of its purity, so I don't have to test it myself. A squished lump of gold, OTOH: I've got to weigh it, make sure it's pure gold, ALL the way through, and probably pay somebody to re-cast it into a convenient shape and put their stamp of approval on it. All of the above is a pain, and costs money. He can't sell that lump for what he paid. He probably lost 5% or so value.
+Scott Skinner NOBODY is willing to buy a commodity that way. (FYI, you can alloy gold with a combo of cheap base metals that have the same density as the gold. If you wanna blow $40k on an "unspecified lump of yellow metal," be my guest. You'll have a hard time reselling it, though.)
*"but guess what, even when it's crushed, it's still worth $40,000."* Closer to $38,000, if I had to venture a guess. Nobody's going to trust you over 40 large without independent verification. And if I can buy a proper gold bar for the same price anytime I care to, WHY would I buy your "mystery metal" unless you discounted it? I mean, a gallon of gasoline in a pail has the same theoretical worth as a gallon from a pump. Would YOU pay the same price, and trust the seller that it really is what he says? Me neither!
3/4 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark, but we prefer dark!) 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, very soft 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon table salt 1 teaspoon baking soda 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips Equipment Large bowl Mixing spoon Measuring cups Measuring spoons Baking sheet Cooling racks Instructions 1. Preheat the oven to 375°. Spray the cookie sheet with nonstick spray or you can use a liner. Silicone liners (like silpats) and parchment paper both work very well. 2. Mix together the two sugars. Be sure to break apart any hard chunks of brown sugar and get the two sugars fully mixed. We prefer dark brown sugar because we think it has a deeper, more caramel flavor, but light brown sugar will make your cookies taste a bit sweeter. 3. Mix the softened butter into the sugar in globs. This helps really incorporate the butter and the sugar. 4. Mix in the eggs one at a time. Crack the eggs directly into the bowl with the butter-sugar mix, and then use your spoon to lightly beat the eggs before stirring them into the butter and sugar. 5. Measure and mix in the vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix the batter as much as possible right now. Break apart any remaining clumps and make sure the batter is a consistent color throughout. If you prefer, you can mix the salt and baking soda with the flour in a separate bowl instead of adding them now. This ensures that these dry ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the batter, but we've never had any trouble adding them in at this point. Honestly, we just prefer to save ourselves an extra bowl to wash! 6. Add the flour all at once. At this point, you want to mix the batter as little as possible to avoid forming too much gluten. Stop mixing as soon as there is no more visible flour on the dough or in the bottom of the bowl. 7. Add the chocolate chips all at once and use a folding motion to incorporate them into the batter. 8. Scoop the batter onto your baking sheet, spacing the balls of dough roughly 2 inches apart. We use a tablespoon and measure out slightly rounded balls - they're about the size of pingpong balls. You can certainly go larger or smaller as you prefer! 9. Bake the cookies for 9-11 minutes. Take them out when they look puffy, are set around the edges, and dry to the touch. Let them cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet. As they cool, they will collapse back on themselves. 10. Transfer the cookies to a rack to finish cooling completely. Bake the rest of the cookies in batches. Recipe Notes: • Mixing cookies by hand, as we like to do, makes your cookies denser and chewier. • You can certainly make chocolate chip cookies with a hand- or stand-mixer. Your cookies will likely spread out more in the oven, making the edges crispy and the middles tender. • Cookie dough can be refrigerated for several days before baking. This will actually deepen the caramel flavors in the cookie. Cookie dough can also be frozen for several months. • This recipe is gratefully adapted from the Original Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe.
1. Gave it back to Baird 2. Baird melt the gold down 3. Baird make it looks like normal again 4. Baird send it to me 5. I use it to buy a car for the whole family,a few games for my ps4,new handphones and tablets, some pc for my dad,a new tv,a mansion ,and the rest i gave it to the poor
What you talking about ? tell me what he said that made you think it was losing its value after crushing it? he never said anything about it losing its value
He says it is really heavy, because it is dense. That has no relevancy because this gold bar weighs 1 kg! A kilogram of feathers and a kilogram of bricks both have the same mass, even though feathers are less dense. What's this dude saying?
And yet there are people who think it looses all value its a soft metal itll only crush nothing more if it shatters and you loose a piece yes its worth less because you have less but if it goes from block to flat piece its still worth 40k
I honestly think he bought it... "hey, public finances, do you mind if I borrow this from you, crush it flat as your wife, for youtube purposes, and send it back to you? no? that's what i thought, thanks" :3
@ Mamang H.O.A.X there's no such thing as 100% pure gold …. *sighs* the best you are ever gonna get is 99.9% pure,. it's literally chemically , and physically impposible to absolve any metal of all impurities. This bar is as pure as you are ever gonna get, that said , no gold even this pure is not like playdough. it is a soft metal and yes you can dent it with your teeth. which is why many people back in the old days of pure gold money exchange would bite their coins to ensure they were pure. but you are not just gonna get a bar of gold this big and start malling it with your hands like play dough.
Mass cannot be created nor destroyed, so the bar lost no value, just its original shape.
Yes, mass cannot be destroyed, but value certainly can. This gold bar however, retained it's value
SexyPizza88 so it just lost some style points
well it could've lost an insignificant amount of mass from particles off of the gold because it wasn't 100% contained.
Easily repaired in a pawnshop.

And if he does not put a official assay office hallmark, it would be illegal, he will also have to put back the sponsors hallmark, as it sent it to him, and he MUST have it back on before reselling it, and he will have to re-hallmark the standard hallmark, the one that shows the purity of the gold (in carats).
bustin nuts yeah lol he can melt it a remould
He can add a 1000 hallmarks of Crushit and it won't change the price in the slightest.
I love how people in the comments are like "it doesn't lose any value" and think they are very smart
In total you would only take a hit of $132
I love you you thought you were smart for thinking of this comment
Better than staying stupid
Mike Hundredson damn is gold illegal
Where u from😂
OMG! A channel about crushing stuff using a hydraulic press. How creative and original. Exactly what we were needing.
Nonnof Yobiznes OMG someone that actually thinks their opinion matters...
Omg it's me! :D
atleast its a hydraulic press channel that can actually speak english correctly
Lack of Nordic accent makes it worse!
I Speak For The Children stfu you insolent child
The gold is not destroyed, no matter what shapes the gold is, the weight is the matter. Crushed or not it still a gold, you can sell them after.
AwesomeLyrics finally people with brain comment 😂😂
U r right bro, Loved ur comment
GrabCuber yep . I wish i can put a gif just to show how i literally feel right now
Exactly
This is pretty much how gold leaf is made
Omg he's crushed expensive metal which can be heated and then shaped to its original shape and value.
Brad Mcluskie funny.. maybe instead of gold it's diamonds and child soldiers under warlords :p
Brad Mcluskie So accurate it's scary
I can hear the cries of 12 year old keyboard warriors from a distance.
I relate to that on soo many levels ! Thank You kind Sir
Brad Mcluskie lol
This 1kg gold baren is now about 60k worth… so crazy that nobody talk, how the gold price startet grown up. They all talk to much about crypto and forget this
Underrated comment. People completely ignore the real value of gold and the benefits of its investments..
it's still gold
Jacob ackles, No its a shit
Crush a hydraulic press with a hydraulic press
been done already on the main hydraulic press channel.
I think I saw Peterscraps in the comments.
crush the hydraulic press channel with a hydraulic press while a hydraulic press crushes that hydraulic press.
It is him.... Woah. Love his channel hahah xD
SharkieX1 Wait me or crushshit?
you can just re melt it as sell it
why bother
just go to a bank and sell it to them
since you need a official stamp from a bank to be taken serious it dosent matter if you bring them the crushed piece
NO FUCKING SHIT, SHERLOCK!
calculate the density
you think they would Just give him 40K? he has to send it back ofcourse
shahaan singh yeah but it needs its number to sell
3:21 was satisfactory
and now he mails it back to the company they melt it pour it into a mold no loss of money or material and practically a free ad
lol you are so correct but idk
Pat I'm sure there was pay involved with the actual shout out if he'd had to send it back
Its technically correct, as gold isn't lost within the process due to how soft it is.
Pat this is probably sponsored so he got paid by the gold company for this video
Pat at least it can be reused instead of being wasted like some people do *cough Techrax cough*
I am a Gold Miner. Crushing that bar of gold was very satisfying to watch. I had no idea that gold is so malleable. Amazing! Thank you "CRUSHIT"
Your very welcome Adam!
You didn't know gold was malleable and you're a gold miner?
You need to refine the gold ore after digging it up because it has lots of shit mixed into it. Gold mixed with other stuff isn't as soft.
Even pure iron is rather soft. gotta add stuff to make it strong
Gold is actually one of the most malleable substances on earth. It can be stretched so thin that it's actually translucent... NASA actually lines Astronauts helmet visors with it to stop radiation but they can still see thru.
Saw the little flecks which came off it, did you weigh it again afterwards?
Scrimjaw that's exactly what I was thinking! Figured it might have lost a gram or maby even gained a little from the head rubbing off on it. Not knowing this bothers me just a little!!!
Jo Blow bothers me a lot
Scrimjaw good thing it's not your problem huh?
Scrimjaw I was thinking of the same thing LOL
ophidic
Even after you crushed it, it still looks beautiful.
Baird lent it to him, they will put it back in a melting pot and recast it, it hasn't really lost any value.
it actually lost a few milligrams.. from 1kg to 0.999998kg..
+celyneus69 Im sure nothing signifigant was lost, probably .0000001 milligrams
celyneus69 Still the same value
+Mr Crow yeah
Murray Herts, you're like the only smart person in this whole comments section, thank you.
I see a bunch of people saying "stop complaining, it still is worth $40,000", but I don't see a single comment of people saying anything like that....
There's a few if you start digging. They usually get downvoted and fall off the top comments.
Here: 9gag.com/gag/aBwyvNO
But now it's a weird looking 40000 dollar gold bar
its still worth the same
I mean, it doesn't lose any mass so its value should be the same.
Yupsss
TerrifiedTam the weight, form and purity of the gold makes the value. The weight is the same, but it got deformed which would make t lose a bit of value. It lost about $100-400 or more from when he took the gold out of the vacuum seal which dropped the purity down to 99.7 and the fact that he crushed it with steel would drop the purity even more.
TerrifiedTam They can simply melt it back to the bar.
I guess they will take it right back and remelt it again. Total cost is few buck for the process.
But when you melt it down it looses weight. Not too much, but still.
When you can afford a 1000 gram block of solid gold but still go with royalty free music.
Before crush:
$40k
After crush:
$40k
Net loss: $0
Net gain: $1500
+Wuking Kong they get approximately 2000 dollars every million views so more like +$2500 so far
Noah Cunningham depends on there contract realistically 1k per mill
Eh not exactly. A lot of value from gold comes from how refined it is. Im sure impurities from the press head managed to make its way into the metal. It wouldn't be hard at all to refine it again if he had a way to melt it down.
SPOliJING the gold might still be worth some value tbh
I hope you all know that that gold is still worth $40k USD.
neither the shape nor engravings have an affect on it. gold is gold.
we know that
Yea they could still sell it
JC_mcsR53 Both of you are fools!! Kids.
wrong, the bar is destroyed.
No shit Sherlock.
YOU MONSTER!!! HOW CAN YOU DESTROY SUCH BEAUTY?!?!
Luiiisnick your avatar makes this comment SO much better XD
Luiiisnick he wll give it back and they will smelt it again and make a new one out of it obviously
alexander syguu OH THANK GOD!
still worth 40,000$ tho
Pour back and is like new
all the dislikes are from people who are mad that he wasted a gold bar.
well, crushed or not, the value is still the same, so there is no shame in that.
Because they're stupid, the gold can be melted and be made into a bar again..
Sorya Ge Ton ikr and all the people complaining wtf
OK Computer the gold is actually worth a bit more in that good bar shape You fuck
not worth any more or less crushed so long as the weight is the same...any reasonable place pays by weight not design
Only if you plan on reselling it. If you plan on melting it down, it's worth the same.
It's actually a bit sad that so many people thought that the gold has lost its value.
DjVolume people are stupid and think appearance has any intrinsic value on something like gold.
ikr, how people can be so stupid. Only thing what i'm curious about is that or it lost any weight after bending it.
rivor2 lul? Are you dumb
rivor2 the question you asked kinda tells u are also stupid....the gold will be more dense. weight doesnt fly away or something.
bootsmanaa lmao , I laughed so hard when he said people can be so stupid, followed by his comment.
I'd rather watch hydraulic press channel than crushit
Minefit same they just copied them
hasheem khan, didn't know we can only have one of each channel
kevin stevensun It's quite ironical tbh. This guy has a minecraft image as his profile picture, and we all know that there definitely isn't like a million minecraft let's players. Definitely not...
why does people get so triggered of what i prefer i'm just stating my opinion
Minefit it's the internet kid no one cares abt u or ur opinion
Crush starts 1:35
Legend
thanks
life saved.
Thanks
First crush that didn't ruin the value of the product.
lol
Daniel Filippus yea
Daniel Filippus you have to melt it down either way so yeah
yes
Who to would make a RUclips channel on crushing things 😂 makes no scence
At least you can melt it and remold it to how it was originally packaged.
That's if you send it back
Nicolas Macias if u melt it it will lose some of its value
Nicolas Macias ofc they sent it back. It's extremely common for companies to send extremely expensive stuff as long as they give it back
Mohammad Khan hi
no they get to keep it
So incredibly visually pleasing to basically watch this gold get kneaded
You can crush a $40,000 Gold bar but you cant crush the most valuable thing in the universe; our love.
The Witness cringe
***** Only someone who has never felt love would say that.
The Witness cringe
The Witness get out of here gay boy
+Cameron Bernard thats not nice
Every time i read ur channel name i read cru-shit
i think its a play on the phrase crush shit
Austre no its crush-it but other people like me see it as cru-shit
ah ok
I see it like Crush-S***
Haha, I read crus-hit
Someone just had to rip off The Hydraulic Press Channel
PlatinumGamer actually this channel did it first you cretin.
There's like 60 other cancerous channels exactly like this
He's English and I can actually understand him, I prefer him over THPC
Don't act like you would not take the oppertunity.
PlatinumGamer who cares it's not like if it was the first time sometime like that happens on RUclips..
Hydrolic Press: "This is the easiest opponent I would ever face"
*Gold: "And Richest too"*
Guys calm down he didn't waste a $40,000 bar of gold. The gold itself is still fine and worth just as much crushed as it was when it was a bar.
sweet, thanks for the clarification.
true, the value is based on weight.
Jenkins1155 he could just send it back and they could reshape it
i was thinking that as it was first being crushed haha salty ass people
Depends. The gold value is the same, but people might not trust his deformed bar as much as the original - the original might have commanded a better premium.
Or he might have actually increased it's value, if someone considers it art or something.
Most expensive crush? No. Nothing was spent. That gold bar is still good. They will just melt it down and use it again.
That is clearly the most expensive thing he has put in the press. It is obvious that is what he means, don't you think?
They may have lost some gold in the press head
Yeah, but it takes time and effort (i.e. money) to melt it down and reshape it though. It's obviously not a huge loss of money to crush the gold bar, but realistically some money is being lost.
BayviewFinch aaaa
Pete Agassi he doesnt mean it like that idiot
Send me that broken gold bar, it's not worth anything now
+Default Hero dam I wish I had the time to do that all day. Must be nice living off the government you trailer trash piece of shit. I didn't know you can pay for internet with food stamps. Bet your in tears trump is is. Going to have to take a drug test to get your food stamps now!
insane931 😂😂😂lol
+Default Hero well we got something in common cheers to the beers lol
insane931 this was way too funny XD
u stupid it worth
Anyone else find this relaxing?
you should have put it back on the scale at the end.
Greg p you're right. He should of
why
It would've been the same weight ?
EXACTLY!
hmm. that's what I was waiting for in the last part !
This some next level Techrax shit here😩
Ur an idiot its still worth 40k
John Homes he never said the value went down
John Homes No shit!
John Homes Nope, 'cause if you buyin something for 40k$k n after "this" n that new "logo" its worth (500 ----- 20 000$....) Learn in gold.
LOL YEAH!!!!!!!
Wait this isn't the hydraulic press channel
I thought the 100 ton would have more impact (har har) than it did. They should send it over to the big press guys before they send it back to the gold dealers.
oh my god goherping ahhh
Anners Rea
could you link which one your referring too? in the recommendations on the right I see " Hyrdraulic press VS "... " Hydraulic Press The Crusher" and several other channels. so unsure which one you might referring to.
thanks.
Waffle Stream OK you too .I love reptiles 🐢🐍
Just because it was misshapen it’s still worth the value!
Pretty cool vid!
for everyone that’s pissed:
1. It’s still worth $40k
2. They can melt it down and remold it.
So chill.
Egriff123 shut up, everyone knows
Jason Dunne not the dislikers
Egriff123 WHAT
NINJA OF DARKNESS
HE SAID NOT THE DISLIKERS!
(crying) pls make him remold it and give me a copy of the gold he just crushed
It can just be melted and reshaped right?
Skantei yep
Handy things about metal.
yep the value don't change
You Dumb? LIsten To Skantei
David Carlson yeah melt it then reform into bar
Gold Brick = 40,000/ Gold crushed Brick still = 40,000
Not really no. No more bar, no more seal and certification. Which means it won't sold as much. Plus it lost chunks.
moiseman The sponsor got it back and made a new certificated bar with it. So no big deal
Also... he basically kneaded impurities into it.
moiseman No.. It can be sold for the exact amount, if it's real solid gold, it will always be sold for its weight. Why would people mine for gold themselves if it was "worth less" than a perfect minted bar with certification lol
moiseman .... I was waiting for an idiot to say this
Is it ironic how this is just a slow version of how coins are made?
Gold bars have feelings
Maze of Encryption nice I agree
Maze of Encryption that poem was "golden!" There was a lot of "weight" to it. It sure did "shine" with hope for gold lives. 😆😂XD I just can't stop! This comment is too "rich" with puns! XD XD XD I guess you could say I struck a pun "gold mine!" XD XD XD XD XD😆😆😆😆😆😂😂😂😂😂
blue IKR 😥😥😥
BlackShadow really
#googlelivesmatter
oh that was satisfying
Ooh, yes it was. Btw, been a long time sub :D
TheBackyardScientist It was hard watching
Oh hey Backyardscientist
logan theboss123 why do you think the gold lost its value or some shit
Maybe you should do something with the gold in your next video, Melton Aluminum vs gold maybe? lol
i don't know what it is, every time i see gold bars i start thinking there's chocolate in them and want to bite it
Gary Lyons thought I was the only one
Gary Lyons same
Gary Lyons it means ur fat
Gary Lyons fuck me too.. 😂😂😂.
alguien quiere frijoles?
I like how after a few couple of months, people still don’t know that the gold is still worth a lot
How the hell does a channel with less than 300k subscribers get a bullion company to send them a $40,000 gold bar?
cause he gets so many views. plus Gold bar = 40k Crushed Gold Bar = 40k.
Hawk 777 exactly
Plus off-screen there's probably two or three quite large and dangerous men and a lawyer there to take possession of it after the crush is done.
They can re melt it and then sell it for its original price.
Hawk 777
Crush a hydraulic press
What will happen
A black hole propably
The universe implodes
Look on the Hydraulic Press Channel, they already did it
Other hydraulic press channels have done that
This video was recommended to me...i didnt enjoy it just sat here crying.
Ron Jones same 😂😂
Ron Jones no money was lost in the making of this video, it's still gold, just disfigured, the price of gold is based on weight and quality, not aesthetic looks.
Firey Frost yep, ans they could still make molten gold and make something more beautiful.
Ron Jones why did you cry?
Ron Jones same
Two things:
1: gratifying
2: flatter
What do you mean most expensive crush yet? It's still going to be fucking gold after you crush it.
he rented it in exchange of advertisment
he means the most expensive thing he's crushed, you moron
yeah exactly. he probably had to send it back to them. advertising is to MAKE money. no one in their right mind would donate $40,000 for a single youtube shout out.
idol hands foreal
+idol hands or he bought it...
but guess what, even when it's crushed, it's still worth $40,000.
Ellen Louise no shit
Donald Trumpet a lot of people in the comments are claiming it has lost it's value
+Scott Skinner
NOBODY is willing to buy a commodity that way. (FYI, you can alloy gold with a combo of cheap base metals that have the same density as the gold. If you wanna blow $40k on an "unspecified lump of yellow metal," be my guest. You'll have a hard time reselling it, though.)
*"but guess what, even when it's crushed, it's still worth $40,000."*
Closer to $38,000, if I had to venture a guess.
Me neither!
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar (light or dark, but we prefer dark!)
1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter, very soft
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon table salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
Equipment
Large bowl
Mixing spoon
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Baking sheet
Cooling racks
Instructions
Recipe Notes:
• Mixing cookies by hand, as we like to do, makes your cookies denser and chewier.
Gaming Cactus Alright
Gaming Cactus ur the funniest person ever
1. Gave it back to Baird
2. Baird melt the gold down
3. Baird make it looks like normal again
4. Baird send it to me
5. I use it to buy a car for the whole family,a few games for my ps4,new handphones and tablets, some pc for my dad,a new tv,a mansion ,and the rest i gave it to the poor
Next: put your hand in the hydraulic press
why the hate.
cause he want
you mean head?
Eaglegaming YES
Eaglegaming That's how you paint the bar red
What happens if we crush gold, easy, it gets crushed
Darius Staehli they act like they are loosing $40,000 lol gold still there afterwards
Darius Staehli lol so true
Yeah but it's not everyday you get to see pure gold and a great example of a soft metal.
What you talking about ? tell me what he said that made you think it was losing its value after crushing it? he never said anything about it losing its value
Darius Staehli They melt it back dip shit
Did you send back the gold to that gold company again?
I mean they just sponsor you to crush it and send it back to them right?
What Will Happen If? Ye
What Will Happen If? hi
Kli0tech101 [D3RK-N3X0N] hello
What Will Happen If? Yes, he sent it back, they'll reheat it and put it into a mould then sell it
Wtf are you doing here
He says it is really heavy, because it is dense. That has no relevancy because this gold bar weighs 1 kg! A kilogram of feathers and a kilogram of bricks both have the same mass, even though feathers are less dense. What's this dude saying?
Its Still 40k In Gold Just A Change In Form 😂
I"m worried that some gold is stuck on the machine XD
Team3Gaming Ikr it still works maybe
FaZe Dmnd
Zegasi Rebel it's only 24 karrat gold so even if it did get stuck it would be worth less than $5
"still works maybe" nah dude the warranty on the rock expired, it's not actually gold anymore, shame :\.
Lol still it worth 40,000
Nikhil Sapkale just what I wanted to say.
Nikhil Sapkale no shit
Nothing goes waste on youtube.
Nikhil Sapkale you do know gold doesn't lost its value even when crushed right?
And yet there are people who think it looses all value its a soft metal itll only crush nothing more if it shatters and you loose a piece yes its worth less because you have less but if it goes from block to flat piece its still worth 40k
That video was actually a great idea... since you still got the 40k$ gold bar AND now here comes the RUclips money.
Tigsby I think he had to send it back after but he has the youtube money still.
I honestly think he bought it... "hey, public finances, do you mind if I borrow this from you, crush it flat as your wife, for youtube purposes, and send it back to you? no? that's what i thought, thanks" :3
Tigsby, they could melt it and can mold the crushed gold bar again
The value remains the same except that it aint gonna get you the chicks with that shape of gold.
Nah chicks still dig it
Gold, that precious element. It's beautiful
So they're not smart chicks
Low key after this video he sold the bar
he has to give it back to the sponsor
Chriss Figueroa are you related to Adriana Figueroa?
Mantaj Grewal true
Mantaj Grewal you think they let him keep it? nah they would just re smelt it
Lol
I bet a Nokia 3310 would destroy that hydraulic
G R O O V Y M A N G O meme?
I thought it was pretty funny G R O O V Y M A N G O
TwinApocalypse You really don't know how to tag people do you.
NOT scarce nice one!
u to lol
Gold is essentially really expensive play-doh.
nope, 100% pure gold is soft as play-doh.
but the gold in this video is 99.9% gold, and 0.1% is the other metals
@ Mamang H.O.A.X
there's no such thing as 100% pure gold …. *sighs*
the best you are ever gonna get is 99.9% pure,. it's literally chemically , and physically impposible to absolve any metal of all impurities.
Fun to play with fun to eat yeah you can eat gold
Jody Darden Actually no it is 99.9 percent
Lol
It's so satisfying to watch how gold is just like playdow for the hydraulic press
