Some things I noticed about this song-
Tyler cutting his lip would lead the blood to drip down his chin. You know what has blood dripping down their chin? Suicidal crazed lions.
Latter in the song he sings the lines " I don't mind at all, lean on my pride. I'm a lion." Does that mean he's a suicidal crazed lion?
Yes, I do believe that is the point and his "pride" is us, since most of the clique are depressed and understand him.

For anyone that has placed their faith in Christ for the gift of Salvation, death; at times, appears to be the better option apart from suffering....b/c in death the Believer will be in the very presence of Christ.

Guys when he says he 'keeps on going back', I think he's talking about him going back to DEMA and when he says he'll 'keep on going back', he sounds more positive because he's now a Bandito (or at least he's making it sound like he is) and going to DEMA to try to help others escape
Great point!!! I not too long ago discovered their use of DEMA to describe demonic forces that rule over the world & attempt to keep people enslaved. At the AMA Josh stated ( when accepting an award) that Josh is cutting ties with DEMA....this could represent the record company itself...similar to when Prince was "controlled" by Warner Bros. and changed his name to a symbolic sign & painted "slave" on his face....However, it more than likely represent s a much bigger, global calamity....of the world being operated by forces that seek to control the world's populations for selfish intent & greed. Biblically speaking, scriptures depicts any spirit of control as belonging to the "kingdom of darkness"...control is a spirit that comes from satan. When GOD created mankind, he enabled each of us to have free will. To either believe in HIM & worship HIM in Truth, Spirit or Love, or to reject HIM> satan, on the other hand, desires to be worshiped to the point of removing one's free will & enslaving the masses. So when you make the statement that Tyler is going back to DEMA to free others...that is directly correleated to scripture...when Christ instructs His disciples to be "fishers of men"..essentially to share with others how they can be spiritually/mentally liberated from the control & powers of darkness that seek to control mankind's mind & lead their spirits into destruction. When Josh stated that Tyler was severing ties with DEMA....that is Biblical as well. When a person comes into the knowledge of Christ as being the ONLY Begotten Son of GOD & accepts that His death & resurrection is the ONLY force that defeats the powers of darkness, that person "becomes" the righteousness of GOD thru Christ & severes former ties w/evil....thus being liberated. And everyone that is liberated thru Christ must in turn share the key to freedom with others.
