Wonderful. John, you have so much talent at age 12. Imagine what you will be doing as you move into adulthood. You are a blessing and the piece you just did here can't be easy. I'll be keeping up with you.
John Samuel this is spectacular!! I’m a huge fan of young pianists/organists. You just popped up on my suggestions. So happy!! New subscriber and completely impressed. You certainly have a gift from God!! So glad you are sharing that gift. You are great on Piano but I personally prefer the pipe organ. Looking forward to seeing and listening to future posts!! God bless you 👍😀🙏🏻
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're enjoying the music. I just posted a harpsichord video -- some Handel -- which I think you'll also enjoy. Watch for Bach's P&F in E Minor on organ, coming later this week.
@JohnSamuelMusic thanks for the reply. It makes my day when I hear back from a musician I admire. It’s even more special when it’s more than just a “thank you”! This selection is wonderful especially at this time of year! Brings a huge smile to my face and joy to my soul. Thank you! I shall certainly watch for more posts. Like I said my favorite is the pipe organ (which you play masterfully!👍). The fact is I totally enjoy great “pianists on any keyboard. 🎶🎶 It’s absolutely amazing that you are this good at your age and with only a couple years of experience. My only explanation is that God has gifted and blessed you. I could not be more thrilled. 🫠 You seem totally into your playing and the body language is great. I could watch/listen for hours. Please keep playing and posting. I don’t know if you have access to pipe organs regularly but that’s my vote! 😉 God bless you 👍😀🙏🏻
@JohnSamuelMusic I will watch for it. Lately I've been listening to Prelude in E♭ major, BWV 552 while wishing I learned it when I was young. I need Bach to survive. I can't keep hands or feet still while listening to his organ works!
Very talented and musical young lad. The organ is a big instrument, but small hand and feet can make it sing. Image the time of Johann Sebastian Bach teaching his sons and young students to play the organ, this John Samuel will fit right in one of JS's organ classes.
David Conte is a fantastic composition teacher, too. He teaches at the San Francisco Conservatory, and was a student of Nadia Boulanger in his teens. I wonder whether you could arrange to have some lessons with him? (I have known him for decades, when I was an undergrad and he was a doctoral student at Cornell University. He's a wonderful person and a brilliant (and challenging) teacher. I hope you'll consider this!
Bravo et merci ! Bonne année 2025 (un peu tard).😍🤩
This young man has a very promising future playing the organ.
Thank you!
All I can say is WOW!!!
Thanks!
Incredible talent. World class organist in his future.
Thank you! 😂
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 what a wonderful arrangement. You brought this to life. God has blessed you with an amazing talent.
Thank you! 😊
Super energetic and exciting playing!
Thanks a lot!
Magnificent!
Thank you!

A beautiful piece! I’ve learned many Bach pieces on the organ but not that one.
Fantastic!
Glad you like it!

I would have loved to learn from the master of music! 😂

you havYoe an amazing career
Thank you!
Where is this, I wonder?
This is the main organ (an Æolian-Skinner from 1970) at National Presbyterian Church in DC!
Remember when you tried to pat your head and rub your belly? Well, JS is doing that while also playing with his feet!
😂 🤚🏼
