- After many requests and finally finding the time to squeeze in some game play with some footage by another player from state 16 (hence the title 'mashup'), I am bringing you the video on Valiant Conquest. This is by no means an exhaustive overview of VC, it is meant to be a primer and introduction for both newer players and players that might not know how best to approach VC. Included is some gameplay from both AngelofDeathTryst, and myself with tips and tricks throughout. Some of the tips shared will apply to any war-type event while other tips are exclusive to Valiant Conquest. We have a handful of amazing talent in s16! Great job to everyone and congrats on state 16 ranking 1st in Valiant Conquest. I know MoMo did a heck of a job and DarthVirus too. I rarely get a chance to shout out all the great players from state 16.
@@dndgroup6897 Your tactics are really good too. I do many of the same things. I find that seeing the tactics of other top players helps develop my own is all, and I think it helps others as well. I scout out a bit early like you do, but I've tended to wind up scouting more around the hub and maybe one level outside that ring ahead of time. For sure I could do a lot better at scouting deeper than that. I make use of my bookmarks too. To VR's point about avoiding attacks, I actually will usually have a safe spot bookmarked too if I start feeling some pressure, so I can get a ton of distance and regroup quickly.
I rarely run into that much these days (I only got attacked once all day and I dodged it), but it's a good habit to get into. I actually started doing that back in the earlier days of Nukaland, to dodge the melee at the end if I needed to.
I don't recall if you ended up getting back ahead of me or not Tryst, but we had 4 of us in the top 30 and I think Momo was top 50 as well. A really good showing for s16 (and finished 1st to boot).
@@ValenceRing The only other thing I would maybe add to the video would have been a bit more about how important this event is for rss accumulation now that Nukaland and Res War no longer allow you to plunder resources. This is now the ONLY event which allows you to take rss from another state in SvS battle. I don't count Wasteland King because it's rare that someone is dumb enough to be unshielded on the wasteland that can be beaten.
Some folks definitely focus mostly on kills in this event, but I take a balanced approach and try to plunder as much as I possibly can. Not just for myself, but to share with my alliance. More and more states are realizing that they cannot have open warfare within their own state and survive, people that get constantly farmed will quit the game or move states and you end up with only a handful of active alliances and rss dry up considerably. As you know, s16 is pretty much a state-wide NAP, so we use these events as our major rss gathering opportunities. I feel that it's the duty of the 'bigger' players (ie bigger spenders) to use these events to bring as much rss home to share with the people that still need to grow in their alliance as we can. I ended up with something like 400m food, 300m wood, 60m steel, and 30m gas from yesterday and I've already given about half of that away to my alliance-mates because frankly the only thing I need rss for these days is training and healing troops. Someone with 150mm is probably not going to be able to bring in that much rss in a single day in VC, but us bigger players can and should be willing to share.
@@twopac187 yeah, i was just giving you shit haha. I agree 100%, seeing what all the top players do and their strategies can help form or tighten up ones own strategies too. I did get back ahead of you, but only by like 1 rank haha (wasn't intentional, just where I ended after klossus hit me lol)
Can you lose SWP during Valiant Conquest?
So I can't remember exactly. I do know that no one from another state can take it. (If you are invading or even if they are invading) but I do believe that members of your own state can still steal the swp. I would have to dig through the rules to see if there is a protection period during svs events but I don't believe so. As a reminder though especially for VC, hitting someone in your own state will grant NO event points for VC so is mostly a waste. Hope that helps. Good luck!
Do a video on that diamond mine can I farm it from my own state?
Diamond mines only occur during Valiant Conquest. You can mine the diamonds in your state or in enemy states. If you mine it from enemy states it provides points for VC. Hope this helps.

I'm not sure if gathering speedups work for diamond mines but the best trick is simply to figure out spawn times (which can vary) for the level 5 mines and gather as many 4s and 5s as possible. You can try the gathering speedup up if you can spare it. But I cant swear that it works.
Omg I luv that Trist has a rideordie troop form too. My fighter one used to be named F*&% it up and riders is rideordie. Haven't come up with a good one for shooters tho.

I have a tyrant in my state. 194 million might. Know someone lvl 30 hq who would come and take her out if I paid them?
I dont anyone specifically but I'll ask around. Not quite that easy of a task regardless and it would have to be someone that would want to stick around for at least 30 days because you have to wait that long to immigrate again. So it's a tall order.
@@ValenceRing how much difference in atk would be needed for t10 shooters to kill t10 riders? If the riders have 1900% attack? What would my shooters need to be to win?
Do you know roughly what the ratio advantage is for shooters over riders?
@@jasonbelcher7282 this is a great question and there isnt a solid answer because there are unknown factors to consider. I am working on a video on this particular topic. But because I know it's not always easy to wait. My rule of thumb is shooters have an advantage over riders so usually you can drop a few hundred percent. 1700% atk shooters hould be able to defeat 1900% atk riders. But there are a lot of factors to consider so this is just a general guesstimate. Hope this helps! I'll do the video on breaking down battle stats as soon as I can.
@@jasonbelcher7282 that is exactly one thing that is not clearly or explicitly stated anywhere. There is an advantage but what that percentage is I don't know. If someone does know I would love to hear it. I've been trying to figure out a way to test it.
