    These plate carriers are made for the small more thin type guys.. if only they would produce them supposedly Large size versions then they would get alot more retail sales 🤷‍♂️ looks good though and very comfortable and breathable

      I mean I’m 5’4” 160 lbs and wear medium sized shirts and I have to have the straps on the top and in the back overlapping to fit me. Seems like there is plenty adjustment to fit a larger person tbh.

      I agree completely! I'm still somewhat new to airsoft, but im 195cm and roughly 115kg - so I'm a pretty big Danish guy, yet everytime I try and find stuff for my type of size, it's always a hassle. Which, however, is something I find quite odd seeing as many of the field I go to, there's just as many big guys as small ones .. I understand football having most stuff for the smaller/ thin/ whatever people - but this isn't the deal in airsoft.

      Also remember this plate carrier is sized for normal sized armor plate you would buy for real plates so, military standards, so that means even of your big you get issued these

      @@xxXBlueDolphinXxx Well, no.. you get plates that fit you... just the most common size is a medium sapi plate (hence why most airsoft and clone carriers are all mediums for the most part) but theres a reason that 'real steel' carriers have small, medium and large.. its the size of the plate not really the fit of the carrier itself

    The size M is the size of the plates. 9.5x12.5 inch or 10x12 inch for commercial plates. It's the most used size of plates.

    Nice video, love mine. Wore it for the first time the other weekend and where normally by lunchtime in my 5.11 I'd be soaked in sweat, I was pretty much dry as a bone in this.
    Also worth mentioning if you don't plan on using a panel on the front you can remove the two clips, they have a split connector where the strap is so you can slide them off the strap, tuck the straps inside the molle and have a completely flat front.
    Adjustments for the cumerband can be made at the back too by lifting up the velcro pouch where you can make it larger or smaller depending on your body type.
    The only thing it's missing which I wish it had is an admin pouch on the front, or a small pocket. My 5.11 has one and it's perfect for storing my phone in, had to buy a scrote pouch instead, but I'm nitpicking now.

      For the same price you can get real plate carriers like the Slickster, MEPC, AC1 and there are tons of used JPC, K19s for around that 180 mark. All have real world applications, made to higher standards of quality, have bstter features and more importantly are combat proven, the only neat thing is those plates, but then again they are overpriced and I do fear long term durability and rigidity compared to training plates....

    I've been duped. Here I was expecting a real plate carrier for my real plates. That said, those magnetic clasps are really clever. For Airsoft, this seems pretty sweet over all. For real steel, that mesh back is a death sentence possibly.

    • @greenradiozone824
      @greenradiozone824 Год назад +5

      Pretty sure they make kevlar covers or backers for plates to protect from spall if thats your biggest worry. Generally, straight nylon or cordura is insufficent against spall, mesh doesn't really make a difference. Look at steel plates in real steel systems, the spall manages to penetrate even at the thickest points in the fabric, so kevlar is needed to compensate for spall. Ceramic plates don't spall at all.

    • @JackkDevil
      @JackkDevil Год назад

      That is true. Stand-alone plates protect from spalling and trauma but regular AR500 type of plates need both a trauma plate under and untispalling cover

      I know - old post, but It does specifically say ASPC - Airsoft plate carrier. I love the concept of this thing - lightweight, durable, good looking and good airflow. That said it is difficult to justify the price for what is essentially a very expensive chest rig. But I bought one and I bet I'll like it.

      First, you do understand that the size of plate carriers isn't related to your clothing size, but the size of the plates it fits right?
      Second, I see several flaws compared to real plate carriers, so for the price id still buy a real PC rather than this thing.
      Third, the plates themselves are kind of neat, but I still have my reservations about their rigidity and long term durability. Also they too are overpriced.
      Overall having seen and played with one from a team mate, I'm rather dissatisfied and I'd go for a real plate carrier, if the novritsch one was about half the price it would have been priced according to its quality and would fit its purpose perfectly. For around the same price you can go for a real slickster, a mepc, or a used JPC, you can find a used Agilite k19 for around 20 bucks more and heck, even the Trexarms AC1 can be had for around the same price... the list goes on, all these options are far superior and fit a real world tactical purpose beyond airsoft and all are combat proven.

    If you're a beginner and you're looking at this PC... dont?
    There is no reason for a beginner to be buying a carrier that costs as much as their gun. Get a condor or something. There is nothing wrong with buying the $30 condor PC on evike. If it rips: learn to fix it! If its smothering you and making you sweat: Take out the plates and make your own honeycomb plates with cardboard. Nothing is a bad purchase if you learn to maintain it.
