We just came back from Blue Lagoon. The floor is slimy and there’s lots of crap floating in the water 😂 and it’s honestly kind of frightening that you can see an active volcano from the edge of the lagoon. That’s way too close for comfort.
It is a little scary that they’re so close to an active volcano. Some of the roads to get there have been impossible. We’ve also heard some stories about things floating in that water that shouldn’t be there. We do think Sky Lagoon is a much better choice.

Pro Tip: Skip the 7-steps and enjoy the lagoon.

Best lagoon in Iceland. Only thing I didn’t like is the drinks are way overpriced.
