Version 1 looks like your arms/ shoulders are on a pully if that makes any sense and it looks like the Emei Bak Mei from GMDW. Version 2 seems like it has more abrupt short power with a whip- a nice stomp at the beginning to

Yes 2 different powered pulley systems utilising the small and large sup jee gings. 2nd version is tighter as it splits the body up and down in its bridge and body , unifying the yin yang forces. Version 1 uses the open close outwards inwards seen in most ykm and bak mei jik bos. Both pulley systems need to be mastered and developed well one after the other before moving onto more advanced sets. Just jik bo could take a good year of training , and should if one is sincere in the work. Many are teaching form after form but haven't learnt or mastered pulley system 1 or the movements correctly. More forms don't make you better or advanced just weakens your bak mei without jik bo foundations mastered. Good eyes there to notice....it's in our book in detail if anyone has the book if not get the book because Doo family bak mei will never be understood without me and what Chris and I have written period.
