This is a true story. He overdosed and nearly died,was in the hospital on christmas which is also Hailie’s birthday He almost died from an overdosed in 2007...Rewinding the tape, is basically him changing his faith, when he realises he is going to survive. So he changes the ending of "Castle"...He is no longer going to feel sorry for himself and try to self destruct, he is gonna fight back this was obviously on his 2017 album Revival but Em went on to survive and created Recovery etc. glad Em is still alive he could’ve went out sad but my mans just performed with his Idol LL Cool J at the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame I know that was a big moment for Marshall EM THE GOAT OF HIP HOP FOREVER His Penmanship Is Unmatched His Storytelling Is Def On 9000!🙇🏽♂️🙌🏽🐐🌟💯

Hailie was born Christmas Day 1995. At the end of Castle was the reenactment of his near-fatal overdose in 2007. Arose is about that overdose and his experience, and what would've happened had he made it to the hospital less than 2 hours later...and what DID happen afterwards once he recovered.
He's been drug free for 14 years now.
Good reaction, thanks for reacting to this . Its a true story , Eminem over dosed and his manager found him luckily just in time. He was rushed into the hospital and if he hadn't been found 2 hours too late he would of died.
Castle is him overdosing at the end and collapsing , Arose is Em on his deathbed at the hospital and basically going over everything he wishes he could change and expressing his emotions from his daughters to his mum and saying he can feel his soul leaving his body to meet up with his best friend who died.
In the end he rewinds the tape back to Castle and changes his own fate.

Em ready did overdose and almost died like he said in the song if he made it more then 2 hours later he wouldn’t have made it. His daughters almost lost a father that year on hailies birthday I believe. Very sad and scary.

Royce said in an interview with Unabashedly Reggie RUclips channel that Em's heart stopped and he had to be revived in the ambulance ,thank god he pulled through, Em's music saved my life with songs like Going through changes and Deja Vu, also Difficult and when I'm gone were put on a tape by my family and put the earphones on me when I was in a coma through an overdose of sleep medication 20+ years ago and I'm clean since then and have my better half and my 3 fantastic kid's which would t have happened if it wasn't for Em putting his whole life ( good and bad) in his music and letting people know if he survived then we all can, my appreciation for him goes way past music, as.a man,and father who could admit all his faults and be so honest with the fans. His fans stay with him because they have been emotionally touched and influenced by his struggles, there is no other artist who connects with his audience like he does.
