  • Anyone building an airplane knows it's a long and tedious process, made easier with a dedicated team that's eager to learn along the way. That was only part of Meriden, Connecticut's EAA Chapter 27's recipe for success in completing a nicely-done Van's RV-12 led by EAA 27 president Mark Scott. For this video, Larry Anglisano from neighboring EAA Chapter 166 Hartford, Connecticut, spent some time with the airplane and with Mark Scott to learn how the chapter got it done.

Enjoyed this. Just discovered a club here in Louisville building an RV12, and they are even looking at doing an electric conversion.

Beautiful plane. The club members are quite lucky to own something like that!

I very much like Dynon’s HDX. I went with their older EFIS, EMS, and auto pilot servos in my RV6 and have had no issues. My Garmin com works well too but one of their tech support people was less than helpful. Appareo and Stratus get top marks for their products and support also
