Wow, I'm searching thru your videos and deciding which one to focus on. You are prolific in your volume of videos, thanks so much. I'm torn between learning "a desk job" and continuing my present field engineer role (EMC storage systems, cloud & on prem). I was injured at work and I am not sure if I will fully heal enough to return to full time heavy lifting in the field. ECS cabinets weigh over 2000 pounds for example, each node weighs 350 lbs. You have pointed all of us in a good direction. I think the basics of linux is what I shall attempt. I need linux basics for loading os for EMC Elastic Cloud Storage anyway.
GPS You are doing the Cloud Gawds work, fam. You have been a real resource for a couple of years now and keep finding ways to sharpen iron with iron for folks trying to follow you. Thank you!
Thank you gps ! I am in the process of learning linux from linux basics for hackers , and i like the in point explanation that it has , keep it up i am learning a lot from you
I start school for cloud computing, and I want to work on things on the side. I haven’t done anything quite yet though. Should I start with this, or you cloud engineer 6 month roadmap, that one really caught my eye it looks fun. But I do want my time best spent. Thanks for everything you do❤
Hi @GPS, thank you so much for this invaluable material. Do you think it is too late to transition to DevOps being 41 years old, having 10+ experience in IT infrastructure/Sysadmin? Do you think it is difficult to find DevOps jobs? Thanks in advance. You the best!
