- This week we ease back into our normal van life in Europe, spending some time at a beautiful campsite in the Dolomites, do our first proper hike together in a while and also head up an epic mountain pass for some wild camping and an early wake up call. At the end of today's vlog we also reveal where we are heading to next week for our new series !!!
For more info about the campsite we stayed at in the first part of the vlog - this is their website: www.campingsas...

Holly so funny 😂. Niceeee shots ❤
Thank you so much ❤️
My Jack Russel acts just like that :) Thanks for including her!
So good to hear that ! They're such intelligent & cute dogs 😍
I am in awe here watching all the beautiful scenery on the screen so imagine you being right there surrounded by all that beauty. I understand Charlene getting emotional many times during your vlogs because it happens to me when I am in a similar situation, because it is not just the extreme beauty that surrounds you because that beauty has always been there, it's that you feel so blessed to be witnessing it. You are super blessed to keep experiencing such moments; thank you for sharing them with us. ❤
Yeah that's the most important thing you're so right, that you stop and appreciate because it's easy to get lost in the routine. This actually happens quite often to us jumping from one thing to the next and especially when you stay in an area for a long time, you start to lose the spark and excitement, I think we spoke about this in a video. So it's really important for us to try and do a mental reset before continuing so that everything just doesn't blur into one 🫨
Stunning aerial shots, what an incredible place!
Thanks so much - the Dolomites are truly amazing !!! 🙂
At the beginning of September my son competed in an extreme triathlon in Livigno and I was his support driver in the event of emergencies. They cycled across five passes, one being the Stelvio - and I can swear that same group of Porsches was belting up and down along with motorcyclists. Mountains are a magnet to Porsches! Anyhow, great vlog and some really superb drone footage. Looking forward to Thursday’s
Thanks so much Terence 🙂 wow that sounds like an amazing experience. We've been to Stelvio Pass a few years ago so we know how incredible it is up there, can only imagine how hard it is cycling up there ! ! And you're right, the Porches absolutely love the mountain passes 😃
You guys have yet again produced another Brilliant vlog. One thing I love about you, is that your completely natural and true in front of the camera Bring yourselves, and even showing us how you cook in the van. I am road tripping to Turkey in June '23 for the summer. You two would make a fantastic travel buddy. You two are truly amazing, and awesome people. Stay safe, can't wait for Thursdays Vlog.
Harry @ (Travelling With Jupiter )
Wow thanks so much Harry ! Yeah we try to show a bit of everything so glad you enjoy watching them. Turkey was amazing for us, we're sure you're gonna love it too - we also hope to get back but unlikely in 2023 though 😤 Feel free to drop us a comment on any of our Turkey vids if you have any questions and I guess we'll see you on Thursday then :)
Spectacular place ! Thanks for sharing ! Enjoy
Thanks for watching Simon 🙂
You're right the Dolomites are spectacular indeed !
Well done guys. Absolutely beautiful video, the Dolomites are definitely on my bucket list. Fingers crossed for next year!
Thanks and we're glad you enjoyed it - and for sure gotta visit the Dolomites so much to see there !!!
Lovely amazing scenery! We have a German Short-haired Pointer and she does the same as Holly except she's 5 times bigger! So sometimes there is carnage 🤣
Thanks Ray and Jo 👋 Wow that's good to know that ours is not broken 😃 Your one sounds huge ! can't imagine the damage 🤣
Amazing mountain scenery! Very unique well done!
Thanks and glad you enjoyed it 😉
It's wonderful to always find you two guys enjoying yourself and the van life.
Thanks so much Dale, we're glad you enjoy the vlogs. See you in the next one 🙂
Another great travel VLOG. The views in the Dolomites are always magnificent.
Thank you so glad you enjoyed it :) I have to agree with you there - the Dolomites are truly majestic !!
Good evening Chris, Charlene & 'Hyper-Holly'
Great VLOG this, loved it :)
The answer to your question ref Holly's funny five mins is simple; She has to live with you guys in an enclosed space! End of.
I laughed quite a lot during this VLOG, 6mins 30 secs ish for the first "Oh my Goddddd Guys" & your assessment of the distance of the fog was flipping hilarious!! - oh & driving a small car (Porsche) is such a "Trill" Charlene :) especially if it's a turquaaaaazzz one :)
Loved the aerial drone shots (as always), spectacular scenery (when no fog / mist).
Stay safe, drive safe & look out for each other & I look forward to the next one! Kev x
Thanks for watching Kev - it was a funny one indeed 😂 We must be driving Holly crazy it's true 🙂
Wow, I really like the campsite, especially the mock cabin. It must have been amazing, having all the Porsche drive by. My best mate had a sportscar and we always used to go to Wales on the small moutain roads for a drive. God, that was fun. He visited me in the area south of Munich a couple of years back with his rhen new girlfriend. She had never seen the Alps before and was really looking forward to it. Like with you, fog set in for the theee days they were over and the mountains were gone apart from the first ten metres. She Was really sad because of it.
Amazing campsite for sure + Passo Giau never disappoints 😉
