  • Fritz Robinson's white 1968 Chevrolet Caprice and red 1968 Chevrolet Impala are absolutely beautiful! Both have original matching numbers 396 325 horsepower motors and 400 Turbo-Hydramatic transmissions. They both ride comfortably smooth and sound great. And the Rally Hub Caps and Rings really compliment the great looks of both cars. The nostalgic drive-in movie theater speakers in both cars were a nice touch also. And I really enjoyed my rides too!

My goal is to one day buy a 68 Impala, my father when he was 20 years old he had one. I want to follow in his footsteps. My dad was born in 1949. Hopefully I get one before my dad is not around, so he can enjoy driving one again.

Just ran across this. I had a 68 Caprice. It had bucket seats with a floor shift and the best part is it had hidden headlights.

Fritz obviously goes above and beyond to take care of his immaculate Chevy’s!
I wish he could have “Let her Eat!” so we could have felt the full power of those 398’s, but he respects his neighbors (& school zone).
Thanks for highlighting two gorgeous classics!

Tips for anyone wanting to chrome dip anything, welding EVERYTHING together on one metal pallet will reduce the price to ONE PIECE, so if your door handle costs $75.00 to dip, welding onto the same pallet as the bumper and you’ll get both, in which the entire car could get dipped for $75.00😊😊😊

Interesting cars, as the Impala sedan will star in my future faith-based literary work to be titled, Mineral County, as an unusual, suspicious primer gray '68 Chevrolet Impala, in which the residents of the community will keep mistakenly identify it "A '67 Chevrolet sedan ", when in fact it is a 1968, and they also would ABSOLUTELY forget it is an Impala.

@awesomecarsforever , I'm also starring a 1968 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu as another unusual suspect car in a backstory of a smaller work, titled, "An Incubus Behind the Wheel". 📕🖊🔍🛞 🔦🚔🚘📸💿🗂 Both works may potentially turn into movies, "An Incubus Behind the Wheel"(made for TV)🎬 and Mineral County,(On the big silver screen), to make it to theaters.

I had a ‘63 Super Sport Impala. These are gorgeous! The speakers on the transmission hump, are they from a outdoor movie theater? Don’t they roll around? Never seen that before.

A buddy of mine had one of these I rode in all through high school. Huge trouble with exhaust for certain. Exhaust manifolds are leaking, and what was that big puff of smoke upon startup? Need to get rid of those stupid hinge pins on the hood. The trim is not original as stated. I like it, of course. My buddy's engine was shot when he bought it, so he bought a short block for $600 and did it all over. The stock exhaust was quiet, as befitted a luxury coupe. It was loaded with all the same stuff, including tilt wheel. The car hauled ass, even with the lowest 325-hp version of the 396; when you cracked the secondaries on that Quadrajet, you knew it. BAHWAHHHHH.....
