Thank you for actually having hiking videos on your channel. Many channels I sub to say they do hiking videos, but in reality it’s mostly gear reviews because they don’t get out enough to have much hiking content
The challenge with Tahoe area trails is the number of variants by not staying on trail. It is a challenge to determine the actual trail, with mis-direction constant. Gaia is a good recommendation!! Thanks for the virtual hike.
Thanks for sharing this. We are looking to get a bit south to do some hiking in early summer - so we are heading to South Lake Tahoe. Many of our hiking areas up here in Wyoming and Montana are not passable due to snow pack until July or August. Great video!
I'm assuming you did this last summer since there is so much smoke in the air? I'm asking cause I'm wondering how much snow would be on the peak right now. It was beautiful on the top!! I love desolation wilderness... an awesome video!
At minute 2:46 you say you're heading counterclockwise, but I think you're actually heading clockwise on this hike. Regardless, looks like a great day hike!

I'm trying to find something for a solo hike and over night hammock trip and honestly although I've done a lot of camping, I've only done a couple solo trips where I have to find a trail head and I'm kind of lost. Any suggestion or comprehensive resource would be greatly appreciated :D

Good choice 👍 Tahoe offers a plethora of excellent trails which should be accessible early summer.

Filmed in October...saw an Instagram post this morning and the area is currently covered in snow.
