- Just a day with some friends riding at Snow Summit ski resort in Big Bear,CA
While it's far from the pros and their insanity, it was a fun day playing on the mountain and putting a video together!
Music Tracks -
Rob Dougan - Nothing at All
Bloody Beetroots - Warp 1.9
Escala - Palladio
Matta - Chaos Reigns
That was awesome! I liked the part where you were riding the log and the guys you with went around haha!
Great video, and I love the song choice!
Wow, great video, Iv'e never seen any videos of the rear shck, it's pretty cool.
Great video and you have a nice bike
Nice video. Those trails look fun. Not very extreme but fun. Must have been fairly smooth trails. When I tried mounting my GoPro to my bike the vibration made it almost unwatchable, but I ride some pretty bumpy trails.
superb video!
I didn't think about using the sticky mounts. I'll have to try that.
you can use windows 7 - Windows Live Movie Maker, very simple, awesome and easy to use. Has very usefull tools tho.
Nice Job! Some neat visual perspectives. What did you use to record and how'd you stablize it to not have "too" much vibration?
Might be how you mounted it or which mount you use. I try to have as little extension pieces as possible, and tighten the mounts with a screwdriver. I have another video (bootleg canyon) that is the bumpiest trail in Vegas and it still turned out pretty smooth as well.
Ya it was all on the original go pro hd hero. It has since been replaced with the hero 2 which I'm happy to have my hands on a couple of them now which they shoot even higher quality video.
As for the mounts, koz5150 was right, I put some of the sticky mounts on the bike, wear the "chesty" mount and have experimented mounting it in some weird spots. As long as you use a screwdriver it doesn't have much vibration.
still trying to figure out a good third person view for skiing and biking.
I was using the roll cage mount for a car. My frame is too big for the bike mount gopro makes. I've tried that mount too for my handle bars and seat post and had the same vibration issues
Nope, sorry you're having problems with it. I uploaded the clips into video pad, then just added fades between the clips and music, nothing fancy.
The shots mounted on the side of the bike were using those sticky mounts just stuck to the side of the frame. The worst vibration shots I get is when I used my wrist mount, I haven't found a good way to use that thing.
nice trail what kind of bike do you have?
@klif01 wow nice bike
dont you have to convert the mp4 files before any editing can be done though?
@steveospivos videopad's free trial. still need to get a good software so I can try to use twixtor for some sweet slow motion!
Did you use any programs to stabilizes the image?
@koz5150 I second that question
what do you use for editing video and adding the tunes?
@NeilTr3nt Trek Fuel EX6
