Thanks! Love it, what you guys showing! What materials for printing do you use now in 2023 for denture base and teeth? Do you have an option for economy and premium printing materials? Recommendation for flexible partial, flexera? Thanks again!
Good afternoon, and thanks for the questions! For printing our IMPACT denture line, there are two options: our standard denture is printed teeth and a high-impact Lucitone base, while our premium denture is a traditional card of teeth bonded to a premium printed high-impact Lucitone base. In terms of flexible options, we offer flexible partial dentures fabricated from TCS material that achieves the unbreakable strength of nylons with the simplicity of acrylics to create the most stable and durable removable appliances in the industry. More information on TCS resins can be found at tcsdentalinc.com/tcs-resins/, while more information on IMPACT printed dentures can be found on our website -> www.roedentallab.com/IMPACT
Good morning Jon, it would take 3 days (plus shipping time) to have the denture redone in this situation! More information can be found on our website at www.roedentallab.com/digitaldenture
Unfortunately some dentists are going for the 2 appointment denture to save time and money. What this means is NO TRYIN which I figure is an important part in denture fabrication.Short cuts and you get what you get.
Good morning Larry. For doctors ordering traditional dentures, or doctors who are not sufficiently experienced with a digital denture workflow, or generally cautious doctors, we would always recommend a try-in prosthesis. We have found, though, that if we have accurate records we can go straight to the final digital denture final with a high degree of confidence. If there is an issue with the final digital denture, we advise doctors to make adjustments, use a sharpie, capture a photo or two, and send that all to us, and we’ll perform a ‘reverse reset’. We will incorporate this new data into the existing digital design and improve the design. In this situation, the original 'final denture' plays the role of a try-in. We then fabricate a new final and send it back to the doctor for a fraction of the cost of a traditional try-in. If we get the denture right the first time the doctor wins with fewer appointments and less cost by not having to pay for a traditional try-in. If we are off, the doctor wins by getting it dialed in for much less than the cost of a try-in. It's a win-win scenario for the doctor either way. What is also great about this is that the reverse reset only needs to be purchased when required and not in advance of knowing if it is necessary or not.
@@ROEDentalLaboratory You are correct when you say skilled dental techs.are getting harder to find making digital dentures an alternative.Traditional and digital dentures both have their pros. and cons.Changes on tryins to traditional dentures is just a matter of heating up the wax and moving the teeth usually taking only a matter of minutes..I've been a dental tech. for 50 years and digital dentures are becoming more common. Some dental supply companies are now discontinuing some products that are needed to fabricate traditional dentures which in my opinion trying to force digital dentures.
We couldn't agree more, Larry. At ROE, we pride ourselves on our ability to produce not only digital dentures, but traditional dentures as well. Maybe you should drop by the lab sometime, our technicians could definitely learn a thing or two from your 50 years of experience!
For ordering and pricing details please call 800-228-6663. Please be aware that we only sell to dentists, dental professionals or dental labs - not to the patient directly.
