*PLEASE READ* Hi there, This vlog was filmed in July 2018 and was downloaded from my other channel to share here. Unfortunately it's downloaded in SD and not HD which it should have done. I wanted to share it here as although, my filming, editing and music is not that great, (when i started vlogging!) i wanted to share it with any of you that wants to see what Kefalonia is like. We spent a week on the island and travelled all around by bus and visited many towns and villages. If you'd prefer to watch this and the 2nd part vlog coming tomorrow in HD then type in diaryofabeautygeek Kefalonia and you will see them there. Take care. Claire x
Thank you Claire for this beautiful video. Also for sharing your family holiday with us all too. You have opened my eyes to this gorgeous part of the world. I just go to the usual, European jaunts!!
Claire its lovely to see a normal young lady doing a beautiful video and just being yourself so naturally lovely great video great music...can't wait to go to kefalonia you have sold it to me 😂😂😂 looks amazing thank you ... ..
You can walk from Lassi to Argostoli, ACROSS land and depending how energetic you are, in 15 to 30 minutes, OR, you can walk AROUND the peninsula to Argostoli ,with the sea (most of the time) by your side. This slow scenic walk can take you, give or take, 2 hours.
I will have to do that walk when we go next time!! We loved Lassi and felt it was the perfect base to explore the island and we always talk about going back. Thank you for sharing the walk
Good morning Claire! I watched first on the big screen and have now come here to see your story behind the upload. Gosh. that music! Thank goodness there's more available now to accompany your vlogs..my ears hurt😂 Nice to see how you started off in the early days of vlogging to what you're now achieving🎉
Ah haha I’m glad you saw my post in these comments - I wasn’t going to post this one but it’s a shame not to show how beautiful Kefalonia is. Hopefully I’ll go back one day and have calmer music 😂
Hi there, it was really easy to use especially if you’re starting from Argostoli as you have the information desk there if you need help. The buses were never full when we went and it was Juiy which surprised us! As it was a few years ago (2018) I think we paid on the bus… a person came around after everyone was seated to take money. You couldn’t purchase return tickets just single and they were really affordable. For instance… I went on my own to Fiskardo for the day which is a 2hr bus trip away and it cost me around €6-7. Some issues… we found that there was limited buses going to Asos like 1 bus in and 1 bus out a few hours later plus… it came 15mins early in Asos and didn’t wait! Also we took the bus to the caves and were told that the bus would pick us up where it dropped us off… it didn’t and we waited around an hour and no bus! So as we were 5, my husband walked to Sami the nearest town and the rest of us got a taxi. But other than that incident, the buses were great and had WiFi on the 2!

Hi Claire, thanks for this info, how did you find using the bus service? Any insights would be greatly appreciated 😊
