I will always remember the very distinct fragrance of the rare mokihana seeds, it is a very rare and hard to find native shrub which I think could only be found on Kauai but I'm not positive on that, being born and raised on Kauai, we used to go places where we knew we could find it but it wasn't an easy trek to get to.
I'm sure the Beach Boys would appreciate the compliment, but they can't hold a candle to Makaha Sons' soul, artistry, and vocal depth, range, and control. :-)
