Congratulations on completing your run of the series. Never had any of the Fear books and came to the title about half=way through the Man-Thing run until the end. Some great stories here and early Man-Thing has been a long-time favorite. Thanks for sharing these, Pete. Enjoyed seeing all the covers for the run. Looking forward to whatever comes next as well as catching up on recent episodes.

GREAT call and spot on re: Frank Robbins!
He was....ok...on The Invaders and so godawful for Morbius.
    And most things really.🤷

Actually it was always titled Fear. Check the indicia thru the entire series. Adventure into Fear was an admonition, as in “we want you to adventure into fear”.

Great stuff, Pete! Always so cool to complete a series! I recently completed the original Nova run, and the Deadly Hands of Kung Fu... I also just love the 25-cent reprint titles... marvel super-heroes, marvel tales, collectors' item classics!!

A comic book fan and an artist are polar opposites.
Alex Toth was influenced by Frank Robbins.
Jim Steranko was roommate with Frank Robbins.
Romitas was influenced by Frank Robbins.
Frank Robbins invented the use of black known as black spotting.
Neal Adams was probably influenced by Frank Robbins and he recommended Frank Robbins.
Frank Robbins worked for the Saturday Evening Post, this is the highest level for illustrators.
My 2 favorite comic book artists are Frank Robbins and Wendy Pini because I'm always learning and I don't wanna learn from talented artists, I wanna learn from gifted artists there is a different there.

Sure Gil Kane is a talented artists but all the stuff he does has been seen before.
Show me something I haven't seen before.
I thought art was about creating something new.
Marvel says their the house of ideas.probably the same old idea over and over again.nothing original at all. A waste of paper if you ask me.

Hi Pete. Have you read the 1992-1995 run of Morbius the living vampire, do you know if it's any good?

I have not. Other than some DC stuff here and there, I stopped reading Marvel after the early 80s.
