The Mill Blackbird - Can Transform into ANY CAR

The Mill created The BLACKBIRD®, the world’s first fully adjustable car rig, that creates photoreal CG cars.
The Blackbird is designed to mimic the dimensions and driving characteristics of any real car chassis. It captures accurate reflection and environmental data allowing the virtual re-skinning of almost any car in CG over the original Blackbird’s modular frame.
The Blackbird, is built by UK Company The Mill, and basically looks like a black dune buggy with an array of cameras on top.
This rig is essentially an electric-powered, fully adjustable roll cage with a camera and four wheels.
It serves one simple purpose: To film a car commercial without having to go through the hassle of actually obtaining a car.
The Blackbird can adjust its length by up to four feet and width by up to 10 inches, as well as have its wheels and tires changed out.
