They are balanced to the teeth. This means rule-sets are set in place to create fair gameplay for everyone involved. Sometimes we do this "dynamically". For example: Maybe a low ranked team would start with pistol only, then get a specter and light shield. After switching sides they maybe can full buy, etc, etc. This gives a sense of suspense to the video as the opposing team would slowly face an increasing challenge!

Going to hop on and quickly mention that these are current rank irons and bronzes (verified). But, current rank means nothing because of all the rank resets. Most players have got reset and stopped grinding so lots of ex-bronze / irons are peak silvers
This is true for everyone. There are countless Radiants in Ascendants, countless Diamonds in Gold, etc. it has messed up the videos a lot but as long as riot keeps hard resetting without adjustments the ranks will remain overall quite meaningless in this game
What is the radiants current rank?
this defeats the whole purpose of doing challenges, it supposed to be accurate with these player ranks, people want to see actual reactions between those ranks and some freakin smurfers trying to be cool on stream. I'm sure that omen already knew he was not in iron skill level, but decided to ruin the challenge. I think you should do some tests, might take some time but maybe put them into another match and watch their plays without letting them know that they're not playing the actual challenge. And then afterward you can confirm their actual rank which would make the challenges more entertaining to watch. I'm tired of there ego kids trying to smurf every challenges and thinking that would be cool.
@@SyX._. I think it was immo right now but peaked radiant multiple times, not just once. Tbh I’ve had HCU perform better in lots of challenges than current radiants just because he’s grinded a lot of videos for me and understands the weird game modes and what to expect. 🤣 Sounds silly but the rules of normal valorant don’t apply as much when I throw in random restrictions to make this content

@@sugarsuper8716 I totally agree with you. Problem is, it is accurate. They ARE current irons and bronze. They would be in iron and bronze lobbies to play. But they get reset and don't play. This is a fault of riots horrible ranking system. I've made these videos for 3 years now and have quite literally seen the ranks degrade overtime and become meaningless. If Riot keeps going for resets then current ranks that don't grind will continue to flood other ranks and mess up the Elo. I have Silvers worse than bronze and vise versa. Ranks are categories now. Iron to Silver blend in a lot. Gold is the only accurate rank (biggest pool). Plat to Diamond is similar. Ascendant and Immortals use to be massively different now it is a huge pool of hell. I had ex radiants play while still being ascendant and shit on current immortals LOL

Yeee iron 1 was sus to me but I mean bronze 2 can be ex Silver 3 before even one reset. I now have golds in bronze bc they reset, play placements and then reset again without grinding LOL
