Nice harvest!! Plums are one of my favorites. I have got to try doing a foliar feed on my trees! Our plum tree this year (3rd season in our garden) had a major problem with aphids early spring.
Not always, but usually too much nitrogen brings on aphids

Amazing 👌🏻, haven’t seen anyone foliar spray once a week or two before.
I do something similar for crops but its once a year before monsoon.
Will be trying to grow some tree saplings quickly over next two years. Planning a 25 days apart foliar routine.
Usually what time in the evening or morning do you spray this ?

You should check out some pictures of the peach orchards in Palisade, Colorado. They prune all the peach trees very small year after year. It makes the harvest easier. But they are so cute with their giant trunks and small stature. It's really remarkable when you see it in person, but I'm sure there are pics online as well. I keep saying i'm going to try foliar feeding some plants and I have yet to do it. It's so hot here now I'm not sure if it would be a good idea. What time of day do you spray?

I foliar feed around 6 AM or an hour before sunset....
I just looked at some pictures online that’s amazing it’s sort of like a farm we have here in central California they pruning in a V-shape, completely open center and no taller than 7 feet

Hi Hoses - Do you apply this during fruiting period or before fruit bearing or to the day of harvesting?
I apply all the way up to 2 weeks before harvest if possible. Only in the late evening
Does this also help with leaf curl? I’m having trouble with my citrus trees.
Two main reasons leaf curl happens on citrus trees.
1. Leaf Miner Larvae
2. Not watering enough
Where did you get the tree Moses? It is really hard to find dwarfs trees.

Of Plum..... Santa Rosa, sweet flesh and very tart thin skin

Well you asked what is my favorite plum, I answered... now comparing them to hybrids... there is no comparison, hybrids win, not just in taste, the production, beautiful trees and beautiful fruit and all over healthier trees.
@@ZaatarGardens wow, interesting that you find them that much better than some already tasty plums. Is there a variety of hybrid that you would consider superior? I just got an ultra dwarf apricot and thought to two in one a hybrid.

I may have miss it but what is the reason for hand soap?
I use hand washing soap to help adhere the fertilizer onto the leaves
is the soap part necessary? Where did you learn that, you seem to be the only person talking about it
Helps spread the solution evenly and helps with run off. I do not put a lot. Over the years I have been told “You seem to be the only person doing that.” I always pay attention to my garden closely and try not to learn through the books.
How much soap per gallon of water?
I typically put 1-2 pumps per gallon
hello there ! what color are your elderberry flowers ? I'm looking for white but several varieties have pink flowers and dark leaves.

I would not, but you could. Spray before sunset

Are you sure the soap is important to the results ?
When I used to not use it I used to have a lot of runoff when I added soap it help made the fertilizer adhere to the leaves
Are those fake snakes effective on squirrels ?
I have to move them around a lot and switch them around too.

They hate the smell of coffee grounds
From my experience, there is nothing that is effective for squirrels. Especially because they are accessing your tree from above. They will never even see that snake.
