One of my favorite fall traditions is to enter one of the quilts I made in the past year in our annual county fair. It motivates me to finish a project and it's so fun to find it among all the other quilts. I've been doing it for nearly 40 years.
It's always fun to see which of my daughters tells me they've bought their first pumpkin latte. I wish they were closer so I could enjoy one with them, but just knowing we can have one virtually with each other makes our distances shrink momentarily.
Autumn is my favorite season but since retiring to Florida, we don't get those beautiful color changes in the leaves. I have to create my Fall indoors with quilts. Thank you for adding to the beauty of the season.
Love your patterns. I always make a matching cushion (pillow) cover for each quilt. We buy fabric by the metre here in Australia, so I always have enough left over! Works perfectly 🧡
I made a queen size Button Box in purple and gold and it is absolutely beautiful! In fact I’ve made several of the patterns showcased in this video and they are ALL gorgeous!
OMG, I just bought that blue and white pumpkin fabrics. Wasn’t sure what I was going to do with them, but fell in love with the colors. Thank you, now you know what I’ll be making.😊
I need to get my Mo Jo back! Haven’t sewn much this summer….hopefully seeing all these wonderful fabrics and designs, I’ll get it back. Are there others out there who just get in a funk with their sewing/quilting?

The darker shades on Modern Charm was a departure from the norm but I really liked it.
A family tradition for us is making Apple Butter.

Pumpkins and squash are all types of gourds. The one you showed looks like a gourd or a squash.
Looks like Hubbard squash. Like the one with the blue background, something a little different for fall.
