I know I said the Lightscale Trident is the best weapon, and I still ultimately think that. However, this Scimitar is also insanely good to have. And in a world with plenty of diamonds and inventory space, you have to ask yourself, why not get both?

I personally think that this our the master sword fused with a silver lynel horn might be the best weapons , i just find it really uncomfortable to have to use sidon's ability every time i wanna do damage with the lightscale trident , how long does the wet effect from sidon last anyways? depending on that it may be viable

maybe your play style, its all depend what kind of weapon you feel you play batter with. Its about the speed or the lenght or how fast you can cancel your attack. what feel better depending how you play? Its sure some weapon in term of power and durability is better but I think there maybe some option.
Another method to get the gerudo shield and gerudo scimitar is to complete the 7 heroes quest with the archaeologist from the shelter, it leads to a weapon stash that respawns every blood moon. EDIT: apparently no longer respawns every blood moon
That gives you the gerudo scimitar not the scimitar of the seven as I’ve just completed it
@@ChristianWhyte-pz6rp I suppose I should have written 'gerudo' shield and 'gerudo' scimitar, but considering there's only 1 way to get the scimitar of the seven, I though it was implied. All of the champions weapon are only gained via crafting from npc.

@@TytanR3x I am trying, but not sure I will ever be able to do it. My reflexes are not as good as they once were. I struggle with Trial of the Master Sword. My son finally did it for me but that made me more determined to do it myself. So I started at a different save spot and am attempting it again. Wish me luck, because I need it. I get frustrated as I have to start over and over again.
@shelleystevens4737 a tip for thee, you can't bring in any of your gear but you can bring in buffs. If you had a really long attack up food and you cook 5 durians you can get 30 extra hearts and some extra damage for the first few floors of the trials, and if you hold onto your raw ingredients for the safe rooms you can cook some more attack up food to extend the buff. You only need a banana and 2 razorshrooms for an attack up 3. Bananas are worth 3 points and razorshrooms 2, you need to build up at least 7 of these invisible points to get a level 3 buff for most food buffs

I got both a scimitar and shield during the main quest. They're on a weapon rack when you're preparing to set up against the Gibdo.

There is also a scimitar in the Lighting Temple, the first collapsing floor that you will encounter will have a electric bat and a grave with the scimitar

@@GrandChampi0nunfortunately it’s my understanding that none of the champions weapons will ever spawn in the overworld or anywhere. It’s always attached to a quest or a barter expensivei purchase situation(usually both I think ). The game devs views them as way too valuable to be laying around. So I def don’t think he was trying to mislead you or was saying incorrect stuff. Hell those basic gerudo scimitars are so hard to get as is, it’s a lil crazy

FYI if you complete the quest from the archaeologist in gerudo (collect all the orbs) you will unlock a weapon cash that has all gerudo weapons.
Also you can get undecayed versions of the weapons in the dephs.

@@strangereligion4373 Yeah complete that quest it will lead you to a weapons cash with all the gerudo weapons, they are not in chests so they will respawn infinitely

Your cat marshmallow told me if you fuse a Colgera jaw to the sword and wear level 2 Radient armor and eat an attack up 3 meal you can do 270 damage per hit!

I hadn't even considered that the Colgera jaw would make a weapon be classified as a Bone weapon... Do any other things do this? Lynel horns or any other type of monster horns maybe? If you can easily get a Bone classification on a weapon, that's big...
@@knowwhoiamyet As far as I'm aware the Colgera jaw is the highest damage possible bone fuse, this is only with my experimenting though, there might be higher damage bone fuses. I have a spear capable of doing 16k+ damage when doing a charged attack, so it's kinda op lol

@@samufinland5765 no, apparently any "sharp" material won't count as bone. Other then Colgera jaw, a readily available bone fuse material is Molduga jaw's

I'd more say that the Scimitar of the Seven is "one" of the best single-handed weapons. However, the pristine Zora Sword and pristine Royal Broadsword can actually hit harder when given the Attack Up +10 bonus, and their abilities are active. Trust me when I say that doing a flurry rush with a pristine Royal Broadsword can easily wipe out most silver enemies when a strong enough material (such as either one of the Silver Lynel horns) is fused onto one.

It's far easier to get in to the town to start the main quest by going behind the throne and Ultrahanding the rock slab that's there. The clue for that is in her journal above the throne. It drops you right inside without having to go through the underground stream.
Alternately, there is a little Gerudo kid who will run away from you. If you follow her, her text boxes reveal what I expect is the "intended" way to get inside. You just follow her to the classroom in the back alley of town, and it's a drop down in there. This was how I got in.

Fuse it with the molduga jaw and have armor with bone proficiency, eat a max attack food, and you have one of the most over powered swords ever
underneath the formation of sand circles/quicksand holes, if you fall down there,
there is also a chest that contains a decayed Gerudo scimitar.
Oh neat I didn't know you could repair legendary weapons with Rock Octorocks that way. I imagine it may be useful to do this for normal weapons too. Aka, you have a +10 attack up bonus weapon/bow. Normally their bonus gets rerolled by the octorock but if you fuse it to something else it rerolls the bonus of the base weapon instead and repairs them both. I can see it be useful to do that trick in that case too. ;)
EDIT: Ok maybe don't try this on normal weapons. It seems fused weapons lose their bonuses if you repair them via rock octorocks even if you have them fused to a different weapon. :(
Might as well just repair them individually and go for the reroll because losing the bonus means you now need 2 rock octorocks to get it back to where it was.

I fuse a molduga jaw to it and wear the bone proficiency armors, when stacked with attack up 3 the damage is absolutely insane
the best sword without glitches the best sword is the unbreakable master sword from the begining of the game because you can get it to 85 power and never need to worry about it breaking but without glitches i can agree this is an insaine whepon and much more useful then the lynal killer

You can also get the shield and scimitar from the champion amiibo. That’s how I have a bunch of each.
Hi i know im late i mean too late BUT for people still in 1.0.0 if you want to add a plus ten to the scimitar of the seven theres a glitch
1. Equip the ability-weapon (the weapon who's stats you're going to put into the scimitar of the seven).
2. Crouch and dont hold a bow and sheild
3. Open the inventory
4. Drop the ability-weapon and equip the scimitar of the seven
5. Drop a shield (the bigger the better, I usually drop a rocket or wing shield and it always works 6. Buffer (unpause and pause really quick)
7. Drop the scimitar of the seven
8. Unpause
9. Stay crouched and walk over and pick up only the ability-weapom
10. Check your inventory it worked
P:S this works for bows and sheilds only in 1.0.0

Even more good weapon builds
Pristine royal broadsword (24)+10 atk modifier+ frost gleeok horn(30)+lvl 3 atk boost (x1.5)+improved flurry rush x2 boost on every hit of a flurry rush. The freeze effect from the gleeok horn makes it so that when you break the ice it does x3 damage. So flurry rushing with this weapon does the most damage you can do with a flurry rush. Since the one handed sword does 7 hits with a flurry rush and the first hit freezes every other hit will do x3 damage on top of everything else. So that’s 4032 damage on one flurry rush if I did the math right and it’ll leave your enemy frozen(or dead because no enemy that you can freeze would survive the whole flurry rush). Doesn’t work on bosses or lynels.
Savage lynel bow(32) with 5 shot burst multiplier(x5 if each arrow lands+ gibdo bone fused arrows(40) + lvl 3 atk food (x1.5)+ bone atk up armor (x1.8) . This would do 626 damage from one shot if all arrows landed. If they all landed a headshot(2x) then 1252 from one shot. Unless you shoot an enemy on a watch tower in which case it’s a x10 headshot bonus (6260) and on wildlife it’s a x1000 headshot bonus or something so 626000 in one hit if all shots land which is actually the most damage in the game.

I like these but honestly - the real party trick to Tears is simply getting the Master Sword early.
Fuse it with nearly *any Moblin horn (who are of course nearly everywhere) and you have upto a 50 atk weapon that basically never breaks _and_ gets powered up by Gloom or Malice to upto 80+ attack. Yep, the Master Sword is still as OP as ever lol.
Fuse this with a silver lynel horn and it bumps into the 100+ dude lol

Well if you get a non decayed gerudo scimitar from the depths, compare when mounted a silver lionel horn id does only 11 attack less than the scimitar of the seven with the same setup.
To get it just destroy a decayed scimitar and wait for blood moon and explore the dephts under gerudo desert.
but the scimitar of seven has a better durabality than the non decayed gerudo scimitar
Both Lightscale Trident and Scimitar of the Seven have an "hidden" ability, now got me wonder does other legendary weapons also have it. I got the Boulder Breaker, but it doesn't seem to have any hidden ability that I'm aware of, maybe the smart ones can figure it out. Also, great videos btw, thanks!

@@dangomango2930 After doing more research, I shouldn't say it is hidden ability, more like some regional weapons have their own unique quirks, Zora type weapon, which includes the Trident hit harder in wet condition.

I think the hidden ability on the boulder breaker is "Demolisher" it is whatever the ability of the weapon it is made from has.

idk why nobody talk about the most easy way to have a scimitar gerudo more easily. is to go to the underground under the gerudo desert. and just find one of these statutes that gives you clean weapons. 17 damage, and you got it every blood moon. the things with the chest is that you only got them once.

if the Scimitar still gets the buff the standard Gerudo weapons have, this could easily be one of the most powerful weapons in the entire game

The Scimitar of the Seven doubles the base power of fused materials, but unlike the other Gerudo weapons, it does not suffer from any durability flaws.

Alright last one I swear. Good weapon builds: shield edition.
Hylian shield (90) with guard up 10. Use the weapon duplication glitch to make a second shield and fuse it to the first one giving your new shield a guard of 100 and a durability of 1600.
Dragonbone boko shield+ silver lynel saber horn (55)+ lvl 3 atk boosting food (x1.5)+ bone proficiency armor (x1.8). Since it’s a dragon BONE boko shield it gets the multiplier from bone proficiency. So 55 x 1.5 x 1.8= 148 damage on a shield if an enemy attacks you, you parry a melee attack or you just shield bash them. This can do more damage if you freeze the enemy first and make sure you hit the enemy with the last hit of the shield before it breaks in total giving a x5 multiplier. So 148 x 5= 740 damage on a shield
You can use Amiibo to get the Gerudo Sword.
Sure, you can repair the scimitar with Octoroks, but you can also merge it with the MsgNotFound Master Sword.

The Gerudo Scimitar's durability is almost as bad as the Royal Guard's weapons, even when a material is fused onto one. The Scimitar of the Seven can last much longer than any of the Gerudo weapons.

i did this quest on "accident" and didnt even knew the scimitar is the best weapon in the game. Yet i searched myself a "Like Like", those horrific horror things that eat you and spit you out. It drops everytime a chest, so i just saved in front of it killed it and reload if it didnt drop a weapon. Needed 2 tries for this. :)

Haven't watched the full video yet, but fun fact: The Scimitar of the Seven actually gains 25 durability, rather than the five regular Gerudo Weapons get.

Some other good weapon builds.
Lighscale trident(16 actual dmg not shown dmg)+molduga jaw(32)+ lvl 3 atk food (x1.5)+bone proficiency armor(x1.8) +sidon bubble for unlimited easy access infinite water warrior because you stay wet for longer than the cooldown lasts (x2)= 259 damage per hit on the weapon with the most durability, good range and rock/armor breaking properties.
Pristine Knights claymore(26 actual dmg not shown dmg)+10 atk modifier +molduga jaw(32)+food (x1.5) bone atk up(x1.8)+ desperate strength (x2) when at 1 heart/4 health or less= 367 damage per hit at 1 heart or less. To reliably get to 1 heart just use gloom weapons. They’re strong and will always leave you at 1 heart if you use them enough from gloom toll. They’ll never actually kill you. And if you’re afraid of dying while using this weapon then carry fairies.
More strong weapon builds.
Pristine royal guards claymore(42 actual dmg not shown dmg) with +10 atk modifier+molduga jaw (32)+ bone proficiency (x1.8)+ lvl3 atk food (x1.5)+ breaking point x2 damage on the 2 hits before the weapon breaks and x4 when it breaks=452 damage on the two hits before it breaks and 904 when it does break. Use this weapon on the last hit before it breaks by hopping on the back of a Lynel and hitting it on the back of the head. This will not do any damage to the durability of your weapon while still damaging the lynel. Just from hopping on the back of a silver Lynel once you can kill it in one cycle. This can also do the most damage in the game if you do a sneak strike when the weapon breaks making the last hit do 904 damage from the weapon itself and x8 from the sneak strike dealing a total of 7232 damage in one hit

Yo I have a tip for people needing diamonds hunt down frost and rare stone talus bosses those are the talus bosses that drop diamonds for me almost every time I have 17 diamonds after hunting like 7 of these thibgs
If you’re too lazy to get all the diamonds, here’s a really easy glitch go to the steps or really any low point where you can glide go into your inventory hold anything you want to dupe then press the Y&B button at the same exact time don’t worry I thought it didn’t work at first but tell that to my 999 diamonds

@Kenkashi Haneki As someone who has been involved with game development, terrible advice. This was not the only issue resolved by the update, some which I've noticed weren't directly mentioned by nintendo as well. If you have already made use of the glitch, not updating isn't worth being on the older version, and if you know what you're doing, acquiring diamonds isn't that much of a hassle in totk.
@@Gowther31 Also at some point they will release DLC which will force the fix at some point. Not fixing a bug could also bring other issue for the dev team in the futur which could result to various effect which aren't discover right now.

Isha can remake it for 3 diamonds, a gerudo scimitar, and 5 flint. You are better off repairing it with an octorok before it breaks though.

Is it me or isha can only make one per save file I made one but I still have material to make another one but she won’t make it
She will only make another one if their are none in the world. So if you have one you’ll need to use it up first or lose it before she will make another one. It can’t just be on the ground or at your home near tarrey town either, it needs to be destroyed/completely gone.

I brought mine to a couple of fresh Octorocks. They all spat it out without repairing them. Did they patch out repairing this weapon?
did you drop it on the ground and fuse it to a regular/non-legendary weapon.
@@ItsShatter It was originally fused with a silver lynel horn, but I removed it after it wouldn't work, so even just a plain SOTS and it still wouldnt repair. I ended up destroying it and spending 3 diamond to get a new one.
@@deadspeedv you need to DROP the SOTS on the ground, equip a standard weapon, use fuse to fuse the SOTS on the ground to your equipped standard weapon, then feed that standard weapon to an Octorok. Afterwards you can go break the two weapons apart at the break a part shop and the SOTS should be repaired.

No, its already in its Pristine Condition, since it doesn't have those dark particles indicating a weapon is damaged
I just spammed flower bombs on the Molduga and camped on the surface💀
The gloom sword on its own does 41 damage and it's a 1 handed weapon
this sword can do 184 damage with armor and materials can the gloom sword do that excatly
There's no way you actually think the gloom sword is better 💀 the gerudo weapons all have Strong Fusion it doubles the power of attached materials, meanwhile gloom swords literally come with a NERF that steals your hearts
Yeah but gloom weapons break after killing one dude lol.
Poor durability, and plagued by a detrimental ability. Frankly, the Gloom weapons are not worth it, but Phantom Ganon does drop the Demon King's Bow, which reaches its maximum power when Link has a minimum of 30 Heart Containers.
@@timothypitcher7996 yeah I dupe the bows for myself, but I don't see why anyone would use the gloom weapons outside the first few hours, even the zora weapons which you can get really early can easily get 60-80 DMG with Sidon's power.
at the labyrinth in tabantha there's a shrine and you can get a diamond there

If you're good at dodging pristine knight broadsword is better
The 2x power during flurry rushes is actually for the Royal Broadsword. The Knight's Broadsword has its power doubled when Link only has 1 Heart Container remaining.
