the detail in the video of as the song progresses, the things they’re playing on and jump off of get higher and higher, like the stakes are getting higher and higher the more he sings the chorus, like the more someone doesn’t reach out

I also saw something interesting, they jumped alone when on the pile of hay, they jumped alone when on the small houses... but on the bridge, one friend is under it and no ones jump, by the time they get on top of the building (probably the highest stage of their depressed state) the friends are together, so this might have saved their lives.

I needed this song more than I knew when I heard it and now I can’t stop listening. The beauty is EVERY time this song plays (millions and millions of times) someone is being checked in on. Both my daughters are young 20’s and have struggled with anxiety and depression all their lives. I love this song!! It tells that generation especially that it’s ok to reach out to each other and make sure they’re doing fine-it’s good to know someone cares enough to ask🥰

Maybe it's just me but I see something quite dark being represented in this video connected with the lyrics. They are going higher and higher and at times we see Tyler lying motionless on the ground. With the repetition of 'you don't have to drop drop drop...' it makes me think of someone jumping. 😕

True TOP in this song: lyrics (as always), melody, instrumental, Tyler's various vocal, incredible drums by Josh! if you want to listen true TOP, this song has it all. I paid the least attention to this song of the new songs, but it is really important as you pointed out. There are so many things in life where I have trouble doing something 'at the risk of feeling dumb' , because of possible damage to my reputation or self-image, its ridiculous and love how they call it out.
