This video is great, very informative and straight to the point. I’m starting to look into this stuff myself so I can do basic maintenance on my car because I’m sick of taking it to the dealership or mechanic and they say they’ve topped up my fluids and then I find out 2 weeks later I’m out of washer fluid and I’ve barely used it.
In reality, Brake fluid should never need " topping up" between services. It doesn't evaporate ( unless your brakes are severely overheating ) and the only other way it disappears is through leakage.
yes, 50/50 should apply to almost all vehicles, most of the time you can buy gallon jugs of premixed coolant and also concentrate that you need to mix yourself. Hope this helps :)
you don't need to fill up your radiator separately, if the coolant reservoir is full, that means the whole cooling system is getting coolant pumped through it. Hope this helps :)
What a shame. Wish I was told how high the levels should be. My steering fluid has a little gauge but it's below the min line unsure if it's right where it should be or should be higher
Hi, I have a 2012 Audi Q5. I have never changed the brake fluid before but I checked it and the liquid looks light green and clear. Should I still change it?
trying to be a bad ass speaker you screwed it for beginners, its as if youre writing a novel or something and trying to show writer charisma..when you try to do something for beginners you go 1 2 3, you dont talk about Transmission Oil in the same fkng sentence you were talking about Brake Oil in one full speech dash, if it wasn't for the images I got lost just listening, also you don't need to make much detailing, we're here to know the type of fluids and then we can check your or other's full videos about each, i really got lost man. so what now is there 5 or 6 , 7 or 8 types, i'm not sure.

Plus never fill the master cylinder completely full you want some room in there for expansion when you get new brakes
I got my first car and knowing all of this information really helps me. Thank you!
Great video! Clear and straight to the point. Thank you.
Thank you so much! I had no clue where different fluids go and your vid has helped a lot! Keep doing what you're doing my man!❤
Thank you! This video should be a prerequisite for all new car owners.
Does this video apply to all vehicles?? He said for antifreeze - 50/50 water and antifreeze
yes, 50/50 should apply to almost all vehicles, most of the time you can buy gallon jugs of premixed coolant and also concentrate that you need to mix yourself. Hope this helps :)
Very informative thank you. I have a question. How do you know if your radiator needs fluid? Is that just fed from the coolant?

@@mrgreen7551 thank you.
Quick and solid to the subject. No wasting our time.
Great vid! Needed a guide like this, thanks!
Very informative but we need time frame interval as to when to change them.
You don’t wanna fill your brake master cylinder completely full cause you want some room in there for expansion when you get new brakes
Thank you! Great, clear video 😎
I have mailbu 2020. i can't find power sterring fluid in owner manual. do i need it or not?
Thanks man

What about the blinker fluid?
How to check fluids on 2012 Cadillac
Best way to check what type of coolant you have so you can fill?
Owners manual if you don’t have one type in your cars make and model online and should tell you what coolant it takes
That engine doesn't look anything like my engine I'm going to have to find another video
This is very obviously a general info video, and not for any specific car.

It should be clear so it sounds good
I live in a tropical environment🏝️ and I never knew there was such thing as washer fluid . We would always use water
Thank you so much.
Thanks so much almost messed up my car before watching
Nice video
I watched another video and the guy said you need to drain the coolant and power steering fluid
I was pretty sure it is a nono to change break fluids by yourself as it lets air in and out and messes with the hydraulic system
learn to spell dipshit
@@believe88 huhhhh?
dam this is too complicating....will my car tell me when i have an issue with any of these fluids?
Howard Hughes the 2nd no it won’t unless you drive a Bentley even those won’t most likely . Just get under the hood and check buddy!
It’s actually more simple too check then to have a computer tell you
It looks hard at first but you’ll get used to it and learn eventually.
I'm on GPL, doesn't that count to you? >:(
Nice username
@@cooperpayne Thanks mate :)
Yes ok sealed I understand that but it has to still be changed!
how about my blinker fluid 🤨
Aren't they also starting to do away with hydraulic brakes and replacing them with electronic brakes.
No that’s the emergency brake that’s now electric before it was a manual cable driven were you pull tension on it. The foot brakes are still hydraulic
