Whale watching out of Gloucester MA

Gloucester MA is home port to Cape Ann Whale Watching (and several other companies). On May 11, 2018 the area turned out to be full of whales. We had scarcely left the harbor breakwater when the boat dropped to a slow creep;: we had encountered the highly uncommon Sei Whale. Later, we met Finbacks, 2 Right Whales (and there are only _+/- 435 of these in the world), and half a dozen Humpbacks, 3 of whom worked as a team to round up their 'suppers'. As a super-extra dividend, Atlantic White-sided Dolphins played in the waves generated by the Humpbacks and our boat. An EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCE when encountered live.
