Seaworld Ride Op here! Yes! They did paint the lagoon blue for Atlantis! A good chunk of the ride was re-tracked as well with brand new track from Mack Rides! Awesome video!
Last time I went to Seaworld was in 2015, and it was when the 50th anniversary was still happening. From my first visit in 2010 to that visit, this theme park was a truly magical experience for me, and now I want to return this year for the 60th.
I love Sea World San Diego too BUT...the food service is sooo slow that waiting for food ruined our day last time my family went. We bought the food pass and then ended up waiting over an hour every time we'd get hungry. Operations really needs to fix the problem of people having to wait unacceptably long periods of time just to get food. This has kept us from visiting again. Efficiency should be the order of the day when ordering/receiving food from the various eating locations. It really left us feeling as though we had wasted 3-4 hours of our entire day when we could have been doing something interesting instead.
I do wish SeaWorld San Diego would offer the same transferrable locker deal as other SeaWorld and Busch Gardens parks. I'd buy it! That, and a pass holder lounge would both be good incentives to get pass holders to visit and spend money in the park.
I totally agree with the lockers!!! We just went beginning of March! They wouldn’t even let my husband wear his very tiny crossbody bag across his chest. Luckily some of the rides my kids didn’t want to ride so I stayed out and held the stuff. If I remember they did have a 4 hour option for our stuff but it still annoying! $3 per ride adds up!

60 years? Man, that's crazy. I grew up in San Diego so my grandmother took me there all the time in the 70's and 80's. My brother raised the penguins in the Penguin Encounter during the first major overhaul of the parking lot. So wild. I should go this year.
No joke...every single time I have ever gone to San Diego in my life...ever since I was young and going to the zoo to all the trips I have taken there since...it ALWAYS rains...at least one of the days or most of a day I am there...told my girlfriend that and now its been 4 times going with her and it has rained...every single time and now she believes me lol

There are day lockers by the guest server if you don't want to pay for many different lockers and I understand Seaworld San Antonio day lockers you can move over to other lockers
I was looking forward to going during spring break, but being that there are so many renovations and closed areas, it's kind of a bummer. Also, the locker situation does suck! I may have to rethink my plans for spring break. Thanks for the updates.

The deal breaker for me is charging extra to ride the Sky ride and the central Lift ride. Absolutely ridiculous. They need to add actual rides for me to come back. I can ride Coasters anywhere else. Removing theming from the front is a bizarre way to spend money too.
Go-Pros with a secure wrist or chest mount! Lockers are handled by the retail team, so any gift shop ambassador can help with those, but yeah they are a PAIN to deal with
the locker system is getting ridiculous. they have added a cubbyhole idk if you saw but they still don't allow bags for cubbys that are designed for bags and stuff. absolutely ridiculous.

Also Had a similar issues with the lockers at the park. They are run by a third party so most cast can't even help you

20 year SW CA passholder. DUMPED them this year. Sea World has declined by degrees. No interest in them anymore. Customer service is NON EXISTANT
