    Nicely done Joe. I think if you guys were able to do all your comparisons at Sand Hollow you would have come away even more impressed with the KRX suspension and, I think you would have found that it actually has more than enough power for that terrain, which it was designed to excel in. I know there are those who always want more power to go faster and jump further, but that isn't what this machine is all about. She is a big, heavy beast for sure, but honestly I think it's the best trail riding/rock crawling machine on the market right now.
    Keep up the great work guys.

    The fact that you guys swapped and also have different machines is great. It's very informative. I still think people adjust to what they buy more than they buy exactly what they want. Does that adjustment become too limiting? Or as skill replaces fear you long for more.. or it's all puffed ego, see that all the time. You own the best most expensive machine on the trail, yet you drive like you are yet to take the training wheels off.

Would be awesome to cut in and out to the actual drive when your talking about climbing up and down or visuals of the front wheel POV when climbing from the driver seat. Great review. I'm 6'7" and that dead pedal looks like it would be a deal breaker for me. I do love the look of the KRX, especially in the green. I barely fit in my X3 with the seat all the way in the down position both front and back. I think RZR has better seating positions for tall men (more leg room and the wheel tilts up further imo). Honestly I would love to see more machines with larger wheel tilt options for the tall crowd ;-)

      I’m 6’6” moved my seat back 3.5 inches. I cut about 3/4 inch off the left side of my brake pedal. Now my left foot can easily extend straight.

    You guys are knocking it out with the real world reviews swapping vehicles. Being local to Arizona this is very helpful to me since I'm still narrowing my list. My biggest concern is the weight of the KRX and being street legal in Arizona, which leads to questions best directed at Garrett. What does it take to register an 1800 plus pound side by side in Arizona and have you done it? Emissions? Is it considered a passenger vehicle? I'm really good at digging this kind of stuff up but it's turned into a big rabbit hole. Not looking to drive on the street a lot, just want to be legal on horizontally marked trails with registration and insurance. Thanks guys.

    • @DerangedOffRoad
      @DerangedOffRoad  4 года назад +1

      So I do have the KRX but actually live in Utah. We have no requirements besides blinkers, horn and the mirrors to become street legal. Joe lives in Arizona and his Talon I believe has the weight issue. Hopefully he will chime in soon. 👍 -Garrett

    Great job Joe! Whoopi! 🤣🤣 I love how much cargo space the KRX has behind the seats and in the bed. I don’t love the steering wheel and I don’t know of a hub to adapt aftermarket wheels yet. Low gear is LOW and you can fit 35” tires for those that want to crawl seriously. I saw a Kentucky dealer advertising the KRX for $13,894! How can you go wrong?! RokBlokz will have a mug flap kit soon and the Kawasaki wide fenders are really nice, just $$$. I agree with the seating opinion,but know that can be easily changed. If we didn’t really want a 4 seat car the KRX would be in our garage. 👍👍😎

      Grant spline adapter 3677-14. You'll also need a 3 hole spacer adapter or a quick release to go to from the hub to a 5 or 6 hole wheel.
