Our imperfections make us uniquely beautiful! It's ironic how we try to hide or shield ourselves from others..especially mean, bullying kids only to discover later in life that these same kids admire the very thing we were SO insecure about!

What’s crazy is when I met you I thought you were sooooo chill and pretty AF. Your personality outshined your survivor mark. People use to call me Fishbone in middle school bc of my scar. I use to get teased about freckles too. Which now people tattoo them. Life is crazy😂

Thank you so much for telling your story. I had a similar bad accident with my mom in the car as a child and it left me with serious gashes on my legs and neck that are very large and prominent. I use to never wanna dress up and wear dresses and skirts or shirts that show my neck. Hearing your story is refreshing because I know I am not alone in how I feel and what I have been through. Thank you for sharing and being transparent as always. And yes i definitely see Sanaa. I can definitely relate to being teased for being different. I was born with a lazy eye and in middle school i was constantly bullied because kids are mean and they assumed or didnt know the difference between a lazy eye and being crossed eyed. I did end up getting surgery years later but that time in my life was horrible.
