10 12 2019 Patchogue Fire Lambui

Fire in Patchogue, Saturday October 12, 2019.
A suspicious fire destroyed numerous cars, and damaged a business on the corner of East Main Street and Case Avenue.
Just after 4:30 a.m. authorities responded for a smoke condition at that intersection. Upon arrival, they found a large area of brush, trees, and cars on fire, with flames threatening surrounding structures.
The SCPD 5th Pct. officers and North Patchogue Fire Dept. were the first on scene.
Tigre Auto repair located at 355 E Main St, Patchogue was damaged when the fire extended to the business.
Numerous area fire dept.'s responded to assist including, Medford, Hagerman, Bluepoint, and Holbrook fire dept.'s to name a few.
The fire is under investigation. E. Main Street was closed for the duration.
