I know this update was a rough one for the developers and a long wait for the fans, but I hope it doesn't discourage "Psycho" Mike Thunderbird and his talented team from putting out the 3rd (and final?) update. I know they had signed some more wrestlers and a couple of real tag teams. If I could have that AND the Tag Team Championship belts, that would add an incredible amount to this game. Also, as much as I love all the arena options we've been given, I would like to see a couple more fantasy-inspired arenas similar in the spirit of Warhorse's arena - just something that doesn't make a whole lot of sense, like on a spaceship or space station where the crowd is mostly made up of robots and aliens, and in the background maybe a large window looking out into space with some stars and a distant planet establishing that you're in space. OR...a couple of backroom locations - like make one a locker room and another the parking lot or boiler room an arena. I know this is an arcade-inspired wrestling game, so a season mode and/or GM were never really in the cards. This is just my personal wishlist of things I would like to see added to one of my Top 3 favorite wrestling games released to make it the best arcade grqppler.. Oh snap! I almost forgot! This game is sorely missing a masked wrestler!
@Poorman125 Ha! The game is awesome and, although I was initially underwhelmed by its roster, I eventually came to love the fact that there are very few famous/popular wrestlers - instead it highlights several indie wrestlers, some of whom have spent a little time in WWE and AEW. I had a list of "jobbers" I would've liked to see in the game - from Glacier to Mortis/Kanyon to Buff Bagwell and maybe throw in a DDP and a Raven as some big name jobbers. Basically, a bunch of people from the N64 AKI games. Lol I was hoping for the Tag Belts because I had planned to use the game as a weekly wrestling show, and it would've been nice to have a 2nd title. I honestly don't even play the game. I just like to set up matches and sim them.
Yeah, i got this game back when it released and I have been playing it ever since because it’s a great game. I almost have 100 hours on it and I don’t know if I should be proud of myself or I shouldn’t be proud of myself I just wish the updates kind of came faster but I get it it’s a very small studio and because all of these updates have been free. They are not ready getting any money out of this so. Basically They are doing this for us because they just want the game to be better And you can really see that with all the updates they have put out
It would be great to sign Jim Cornette and the Midnight Express alongside The Heavenly Bodies. Jim Cornette and The Midnight Express have never officially appeared in a video game and it would be a good way to convince him (especially if the game came out in physical format).
@CCAtercero I was never a hardcore wrestling fan. When I was 7 or 8 my mom told me it was fake and it ruined the whole illusion for me. I got into it in Mt early 20's after I purchased WCW/NWO World Tour for the N64, which led me to start watching Monday Nitro and then Thursday Thunder. For some reason I only watched WCW - now I wish I would've watched it. I played the games from WWF WM2000 all the way up to Smackdown 2008. All that just to say - 6 months ago I wouldn't have had any idea who Jim Cornette was, as the majority of my wrestling knowledge comes from the video game side of the sport. But within the last 6 months I discovered Jim Cornette's podcast(s) and I love listening to the guy. I 100% agree - I would love to see Cornette in the game. I wish you could choose ant of the wrestlers to accompany you to the ring as a manager - not even in an interactive capacity, as that would take way more programming - just a manager who would walk around the ring in their entrance attire, so they wouldn't have to draw and program a new attire.
