@@tallenta6071 Yes, and I have been trying to wrap my head around how to do it. I do not think a single episode will be enough, might be a 3 part series. There is also so many events and I have to dedicate episodes to the major figures like Chiang Kai-shek/Mao Zedong. Right after the WW1 episodes are done there will be maybe 2 episodes on other things, then its Warlord Era.
@@ThePacificWarChannel it's a big topic. I left a comment about how I've done a lot of research on the topic for a project. 3 parts could be 1) general history of the major warlords and the conflicts, 2) focus on South and the northern expedition, 3) focus on Japanese and foreign reactions/influence. Just an idea?
@@davidw.2791 Actually both the KMT & the CCP seized power from the legitimated government of China in 1920s. That's why you didn't see their flag during 1910s. haha 😄
Great stuff! Many don’t believe WWI was truly a global war, but it absolutely was. Love the WWI content, keep it coming! And if you’d ever like to colab on a WWI vid in the future, let me know!
thanks for sharing this happen to the global. When i were in high school history class in Canada, when teacher taught the world war one history in class , i did mention to him the Chinese did involve into the WW1 which he never believed due to his limited Asian history knowledge. hope he can see your channel.
Gotta say I am surprised to learn about the Chinese in Russia and during the civil war. This was really well done and very thorough. Also if you are looking for any consultantation for when you cover the Chinese warlord era, I have done a lot of research in that regard. Keep up the good work! Your videos are well done
@0:10~0:26 That was a war movie filmed in China staring by "Jackie Chan", the officer(0:21) who held a maxim heavy machine gun was him.(Movie name:1911) The only movie of Jackie Chan he played has no kung-fu martial arts in it, hahaha 😆 😂
i remember when I was twelve in Syosset, NY, I opened up a picture history book of the Chinese civil war. A big one. Pictures crystal clear but in black in white. There was this like basketball court, with all these rows of decapitated heads. They were suspected members of Mao Tse tungs Communist guerrilas. Beheaded under Chang Kai Shek's orders. Both sides were brutal, and the Japanese added salt in the wounds. I am not a fan of dictators, but I am glad China cannot be exploited anymore by foreigners.
The Communists killed/murdered much more people than the Nationalist ever did and ever would. Yes, the Nationalist were not perfect and they were authoritarian at first, but if you truly look at their fundamental philosophies, communism vs Three People's Principles, you can see who is truly the evil one.
Mao was famous and became a leader of CCP was after the "Long March" of mid 1930s. The photo you saw the beheaded communists was 1927, a sudden purge ordered by "Chiang"!

Will you make a video about China's Warlord Era? That era is confusing

Unfortunately, neither the KMT or the Communist flag of China was in use in that era. ✌🏼😄

There no 🇨🇳 flag in either WWs.
The RUclips Emoji list does not have the appropriate historical flags, I use whatever I can. Its an SEO algorithm issue
@@ThePacificWarChannel then use ROC 🇹🇼 flag only
But the five-colour Chinese flag isn’t an emoji (yet) so I say OP’s hands are tied.
