- Got this in the mail and decided to do a review while I set it up. It's easy, and can be done by yourself. Happy I made the investment.

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered this stand on Amazon, and I have no issues following instructions from manuals, but it’s really helpful to be able to follow along with someone else as well. Thanks man!
I appreciate that. I wasn't sure if this type of video would help anyone, but I'm glad it did.
How big are your monitors because it’s not holding mine
@@cloudtayy 24” each. make sure the Allen screws are tight.
@@tjb610 hmm idk then because mine just keep falling and like their not to heavy.
@@cloudtayy There are multiple locations where the Allen screws need to be tightened. Make sure you’ve tightened them all. Mine kept falling at first too
You make it look so easy. I’ve the got the same stand which I purchased in 2017. The parts are still laying on the floor and I can’t seem to be motivated enough to mount it. Alright, I’ll watch this video a couple more times. You’ve given me some inspiration.
Lazy
@@lRickGrimesl Lol I agree. It takes like an hour tops
Over a year after you've uploaded this video, I received my VIVO dual mount. Watched your video just to get a visual of everything. It was detailed, simple, and direct. Thanks for the video my guy. On another note, I think a few people on amazon aren't aware that the screw on the 9:50 mark can be tightened with the allen key so they complain that the mount isn't holding their monitors up. lol
Thank you bro, this tutorial was so helpful. I would've been screwed if i tried following that manual. Thanks again 💯🔥👍
You're very welcome
the detailed one i've seen thanks alot
Thank you very much!
Thanks for making this video, I’ve been struggling on which one to buy and this video cleared up the terrible reviews this product got by people that weren’t satisfied.
This is the same as the "Wali" system. I have it for, not monitors, but to mount my Canon 5D MK III pointing down with the Canon 100mm macro lens to digitize family negatives and slides. The stand is rock solid. I use Adobe Lightroom to tether my Canon and press the Spacebar to for the exposure. No problems and is 1,000 times faster than a desktop scanner with a 100 times greater resolution. I had to do some customization, your mileage will vary, but there are several RUclips videos on making this happen.
NICE!
Thank you for the help. You were much better than the paper instructions. Matter of fact you were better and my stand came out perfect.
I don’t have the same stand but this still really helped, thanks
anytime!
Underrated video
Thank you so much for this
This was very clear and helpful! Thanks for posting this!
Thank you for showing this - massive help!
You're very welcome!
Really well put together video man, thanks 🖤
Anytime!
Very thorough tutorial!! Thank you!!
Thanks for the video! I just bought this, but taking a break and will try again tomorrow 🙃 🙂 😅
Amazing job thank you bro much love to you❤
Thanks bro I ordered a similar one didn't have any instructions 🤦
very nice and detailed video. definitely buying this
Thank you for posting this video. I just got a VIVO mount after Amazon had them on sale. Can't wait to hook it up and finally clean up the mess of wires on my desk. It looks really simple to do - which is perfect for me who can barely operate a screw driver.
worked great thanks
How were you able to attach the back screws with the monitor arm every time I try it’s like the screws are too short to reach the arm
You genius. Saved me. Thanks for this.
You're very welcome
Got that same socket set.
Thank you so much for the video ,it helped me a lot
You're very welcome. I'm glad that it helped someone. Happy holidays!
Lmao. "One place you need to go" *holds up frozen ziploc baggy*
XDDD
yeah boiiiiee lol
thank you bro!
Thx bro i am just about to get this
Thank you for doing this tutorial, a minor suggestion, lose the music. I find it distracting and adds nothing to the process, several times I found myself having to listen to your instructions several times over because the music was overpowering. Otherwise, well done.
What are some alternatives for the screws and stuff. I got the mount and screws for the regular monitors because at first I didn’t have curved monitors now I do. Do you think I can use the regular screws with curved monitors?
YES you can! The only difference with mounting a curved vs a flat monitor is that the curved uses spacers that are included in the box. It also shows you how to mount a curved monitor and a flat monitor in the manual that they provide. Just make sure that the monitors you have are able to take VESA mounting holes.
FriskyRebel I’m saying I don’t have the long screws or spacers for a curved monitor I threw them away because I thought I would never get a curved monitor. Will the short screws the ones that works for flat monitors work with a curved one?
@@luvhevo If the back of your curved monitor is flat and the mounting holes are flat, then I can see the short screws working with the metal bracket. If the back of the monitor is curved and the mounting holes are curved, then I don't think it will work. The metal bracket won't bend to the monitor (that's what the spacers were for) so if you install the metal bracket with the short screws it might cause damage to a curved monitor.
I'd try contacting the company that makes the mount, or a hardware store that has individual components like the ones that come with the mount.
If it helps, the parts that you need for a single curved monitor are:
- 4 M4 spacers
- 4 M4x30 bolts.
Hope this helps!
@@luvhevo order some spacers and screws for a curved monitor, better safe than sorry
when i put the monitor on it tilts all the way down, i’ve tighten it the best i could and still does it.
Same have you figured it out if so can u like this comment so I can get the noti
My monitor doesn’t have those holes on the back do you no any other way to mount it to the stand?
I don't. Any monitor that has those holes are designed to give customers the option to mount them on ergonomic stands/walls if they choose to.
this was such a fire video gg
great explaining my friend
Thank you so much!
Every time I put my monitor on the stand it just tilts all the way down
9:54 is where I tighten the joint with the allen (or hex) key. That will hold your monitor's tilted position. I'd suggest getting it tight enough to hold the monitor upright, and then once the monitor is on the bracket tighten it more to secure it in place so that it doesn't slip.
FriskyRebel yeah I finally got it down pack. You just got to tighten it way more
Hey pal, would you recommend this monitor mount for a dual monitor setup (both at 27 inches) using a standing desk?
Best video I love you❤❤❤
Shut your dumbass up
Your so handsome bro
Thanks bro I know
Pp
thank u that very help me
Anytime, broheim!
Came here for the mount installation but ended up reflecting on my life after seeing Bruce Lee’s quote
What kinda screw you need ?
Hi, thanks for the thorough video! Do you know the dimensions of the clamp plate that goes under the desk (the flat black piece that the screw goes into)? I don't have a lot of space under my desk so I would like to know.
I did a rough measurement so bear with me:
The long rounded plate that actually touches the desk at the bottom is 2 inches wide and 3 and 1/8th inches long.
The L shaped plate that the screw passes through is 2 and 3/8 inches wide, 3 and 1/8 inches high, and 2 and 3/8 inches long.
I hope that helps.
@@thefriskyrebel Oh, I think it will fit then! Thanks so much!!
@@alsohenry you're very welcome.
Bro I don’t get the clap part. Literally the two acres the g screws don’t even hold them together so it keeps falling and when trying to tighten to my desk it won’t work at all
I recently got this and I am disappointed that it doesn't move up and down only forward and side ways damn don't even feel like packing and sending it pack
How do you change the height so that both monitors are aligned
When I screwed the screws for the backplate of the monitor. The screws don’t go all the way in. I have spectre 165 hz 1ms it’s a flat monitor
Are there shorter screws?
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial they are longer
@@carloss7557 use the shorter ones
when i put my monitor onto the stand, the monitor just falls face down and it cant stay up, im confused
Does this fit with a 24.5 inch monitor also?
The plates that holds the monitor is pointing upwards and I can’t point it foward
Hey man just purchased some monitors that came with these arms dual monitor setup, I'm looking to adjust the height what would be the best way to go about it. Would I have to remove the monitors? Thanks
You definitely want to dismount the monitors before adjusting the height. Less wait to deal with, and makes the process significantly easier.
How much room does that clamp give you
It opens up the desk surface area entirely. Nothing except my mouse and keyboard are on the surface of my desk. I'll never go without one now, a must for making things more ergonomic and comfortable.
How did you tighten it so that the monitors don't tilt over when you put them on?? On one my arms its extremely tight but stillt he monitor tilts over when i put it on. It's only a 21" monitor and fits the weight discription
Did you manage to sort this?
Do I have to screw anything into my desk because I have a metal one
Nope!
cool
Which one will you recommend this one or the Amazonbasics one?
Personally, I'd buy this one. My reasons are more morality based though.
Tons of companies are making money through Amazon, but you'll often find that Amazon will make another version of those products at a cheaper price. Amazon's basically making money both as an online platform vendor for these business while also competing with them.
Amazon has been a powerful business and will be able to sustain itself during things like a pandemic. Small business have a smaller chance of making it. So especially if their products are of higher quality, I want to support those businesses that are innovative and fulfilling needs/wants in society.
@@thefriskyrebel is it possible to fit ring light on it?
@@leanerleisure6886 Depends on the mount, but I can see it being possible.
ruclips.net/video/4c3wa7SP-mE/видео.html
This is a ring light setup that I can see working with the monitor mount.
@@thefriskyrebel but I wanted to fit a single ring light in the middle, so that my webcam lies at the centre of ring light. Is welding possible anyhow as I will be using this as a permanent setup(dual monitor)
@@leanerleisure6886 That's something that you can only answer broheim, because I haven't done what you're describing.
What size are the bolts mine needs 10 mm
I get a isseu where my monitor rocks back and forwaf the resa mount thing rocks a little bit
Make sure the stand clamp is on very tight. It must be secure to hold the weight of the monitors
my Asus IPS monitors don't have any pre-drill holes. Before I purchase this item, can I do anything differently to mount them?
This monitor mount uses VESA mounts (a standard measurement/form of mount) for the monitors to be able to work with it. I'd look for adapter plates for your monitors that can provide the VESA mounting standard
How do I flip the heads of the monitor where it is upright and correct like you stated, just like you said how your monitor head was upside down my is sideways
Same, did you solve it?
I really need help
hi the swivel arms won’t go on all the way
one question what do you do if your monitor can't hang still on the arm?
There's a way to tighten it after it gets into position. I show it in the video, but if I were you I'd check to see how heavy your monitors are. There's a weight threshold for each arm.
@@thefriskyrebel when I got a new desk I check the vid again
When I tighten the black bolt on top and when I’m done and I tilt it back it forward it makes a noise like I didn’t tighten it enough
I would get the tilt position down first and tighten that before I put the monitor on. Then I would put the monitor on and tighten the black bolt on top.
Yes same
I did not get the f screws
I don’t have anything to use to screw them onto my monitor
How do I rotate the arm thing
I'm not sure which part you mean. The screens can be rotated and pivoted on its axis.
Can you remove one of the arms? I have one and can't unscrew it but I'm not sure if it's really hard or not possible
It may be possible, but I would not remove one of the arms. This is a dual monitor setup, meaning that it was designed to hold two monitors of similar weights. If you remove one of the arms you might mess with the structural rigidity of the stand. There are plenty of single monitor stands online to purchase.
@@thefriskyrebel I removed it and its working great. I already had it, the screw was just tightened really hard so I didn't know if it was possible
@@ashbyreinhold9718 Awesome, as long as it holds up and it works!
@@thefriskyrebel I'll let you know if it doesn't
@@ashbyreinhold9718 Could you tell me how you were able to remove one of the arms? thank you
Can you rotate your monitors to vertical mode?
YES. Very easily.
How thick is your desk?
1 and 5/16 inches
no pickles
ok now make a tutorial
Got this via Amazon yesterday. Whole thing slid all the way down the pole even after being fully tightened. The arms make the monitors fall flat as well. Absolutely dog meat quality. I would recommend not going with this brand. I am receiving a replacement today and honestly am bracing for it to have the same issue as well. I ordered the Amazon basics version of this as well just as security. Not happy with this purchase needless to say.
What monitors do you have. There's weight limits, if you have really heavy monitors, I recommend the gas spring alternative
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial Alienware AW2518H and Asus VG245. I got a replacement that work's fine. The first one i got was just a dud unfortunately.
@@jdiamatti that's good, was customer service reliable?
