Supporting the original fragrance house is admirable and something I agree with but it only goes so far. I don't think for one second that the people who made my favorite fragrances aren't constantly thinking of ways to spend less and make more. They're always looking to get more money out of my pocket, it's what they do and I don't fault them for it. But it makes my loyalty directly related to the scent- if there's a clone that is just as good for less, I'm sorry I gotta go with it...the brands aren't "loyal" to their customers- they'll gouge you on prices, reformulate to save money etc...it's just business. If you want me to exclusively buy your product, give me no choice but to do so

Totally agree with you about Emperor Extrait, fantastic and I'd choose that over my 2019 batch of Aventus every time plus the bottle looks cool and doesn't go on my clone house shelf.
I've tried emperor edp and extrait and although extrait is by far the best aventus inspired fragrance I've smelt emperor edp just give that extra push and only lacks in performance by about an hr. Pvi gold is a pineapple monster and Verbena field is a GIT beast. Great vid mate looking forward to your take on all the aventus inspirations from this house.

I got six samples last week from Parfums Vintage. Each is super high and spells spot on. My favorite is Pineapple Intense because my favorite part of Aventus is the opening. Emperor EDP is the closest to Aventus that I’ve tried.
I’m super interested in PV Sandal Amber because I love, love Tom Ford Amber Absolute. Thanks for the take.

So after hearing my wife swoon over her getting a whiff of BR540 I ordered a decant to make sure it was the one. While waiting for it I recieved Sunset in Heaven as a gift. When they both arrived I can honestly say though both smelled fantastic, the PV Sunset just lasted so much longer and in terms of sillage and projection was miles above. So it's her daily wear now, I can smell it instantly and she says her customers are contantly asking what she wears. I have since purchased Sillage of Unicorns, PVI and X-Batch. And I guess after this I'll be checking out Puissant or Evolution. Thanks for a great review.

Love this house, have emperor extract, aqua intense, rush of unicorns and brilliant bergamot intense. Next up is emerald isles and the tropical prive. Have to take soir over Martin tho. Great review
Just received my first Parfums Vintage purchase and I went with the new release Xeno you highly recommend on IG. Not had a full wearing yet but BR540 is definitely the base with great projection but really with that rum note would have stuck around from the opening. Still early but not getting much Straight to Heaven. I’m hoping so me this is a new release that it may change a bit after maceration. Quality fragrance regardless! Also got a sample of Sandal Amber which is really nice!
Great review as always, Chris... have most of their scents and love their quality... I know some people hate clones but for us poorer people🤣, clones are a great alternative... be it PV, Dua, Alexandria, etc. I dont knock it especially if it improves the original or brings back some discontinued scents.
