Dr. Thomas has written a fantastic book to help us all gain a clearer insight into how the early church understood Paul's views on justification -- and the complicated church divisions over whether we are justified by "faith" or "faithfulness." The translation we take will lead us down different theological paths. Grateful for Dr. Thomas' insights into second-century perspectives on Paul and helping us all deal with these different theological viewpoints.

Have you ever thought that works of the law was actually the rituals of the torah, or temple related laws? Just have a look on Papaiouanous book: Israel, covenant and Law.

Paul is addressing the circumcision party. We keep gods commandments because we are saved, we dont keep them to be saved
