Could you post it on the Q and A formula? Tom is behind answering questions and I might forget your question if it is not on the list. I know Tom mentions gap in several videos... Actually, it is one of the 5 things he looks for when looking for trend days.
If you are new to trading its important to take profits at logical levels. Letting your profits run and letting winners turn into losers will cause lots of frustration
It's so annoying to let winners run into losers. On the other hand, it's also so annoying to have a be out and see it turns and go your way. The hard thing is not to find some reasons to enter - the hard part is to manage the position.

Nice trading! one question regarding your DOW trade; i know of seeing the streaming that you were looking into having a runner day; but why you didn't use trail stop or something to at least not leave so many points/$$$ under the table? or, on the other hands, work on targets (as shown un your screen) when the dow couldn't get into the low on the 4 hs candle, it seems many buyers shown there and buy all the thing back up; it is now good realizing that, to close the trade with nice profits? Thanks for your answers and your teaching!!!! amazing stuff...
It's a GOOD question - and so hard to answer. Can I counter the Question? you how many times have you set sl to be or trailed up ... just to miss a gigantic winner. My 5 cents entry is the easy part - but when/if to bank profit is the hard part.

I see your point of view answering why you entered the DOW trade and ended with zero profit. Yet sometime I feel you leave a lot of money on the table. I have seen you do it very often. The question is, is it worth waiting for a $100,000 day? wouldn't it be better to have gone out of the trade with a £10,000 profit and in one month it would add up more than the £100,000 day right?
