Hey, saw the review. Is this product compatible with the 2016 mystic majestic. I cannot tell from the video if it will fit but the top strap of the 2016 majestic has a wider strap. Can you tell me the width of the slots for the straps.
I have the M size. Any trick on how to hide those 4 super long straps. I don't want to cut them off
Are you handling a recall on Stealth Bar by Mystic??
I find this bar an amazing solution, but what about the emergency line cutter? I can't see it anymore and for me it is a major safety feature. Is it resettled in some other parts of the harness?
The Mystic X harness doesn't come with a hook knife, but there is a hook knife sleeve on the elastic area of the cumber bun that sits under the spreader bar. Any Mystic, Dakine or major brand knife will fit in this pocket. The Stealth spreader has no slot for a hook knife. The Dakine hook knife comes in a nylon pouch that has a belt loop that many poeple will install on the 1" webbing on either side of the spreader bar that works well also. I agree you need a hook knife.
I'm looking to use this combo, but where do you hook a short leash on the majestic x w the stealth bar?
Great, we would love to get you setup. We have the stealth and majestic here with the stealth in every size. The leash hooks to a removable black metal tab you you can put on either side of the spreader bar on the webbing. COmes with the harness NOT the spreader bar. Where I can put line cutter ?
What about the Dakine Nitros board short harness, or the Ion B2 - will they accept the wings into the harness ?
Just bought the bar, yes it will support it if you're buying the right size and you shouldn't have to trim the flaps. I bought the 34" nitrous and the 28cm stealth surf bar and it fits well, the problem with the spreader bar is that it's padding and width is quite huge. With the already limited hip flexibility of the seat harness adding this bar makes it difficult to bend at your hips to bend over and pick things up. I ended up putting this spreader bar on my waist harness.
If you're looking for a good sliding spreader/hook for the Nitrous I recommend the ION C-Bar 3.0 surf/hook, I bought that and it works well.
Is the wing compatible with the 1st X generation?
YES FOR SURE! Any harness that uses 1" webbing which the original X did. Hope that helps!
Will this work as a replacement for the clickerbar?

You don't use the center cord to pass the chicken loop. You squeeze the ring through the small center cord and pass the loop through the ring. If not the qui k release will get stuck. That explanation is missing and even in the shop, the salesmen gave me bad info. Harness is amazing and worth every dime
I think I understand the issue and it must be due to a square or otherwise large end of the chicken loop that engages the release mechanism. You are right this will get caught it you don't assemble the way you described. If I understand correctly, because most brands use a smooth end connection to their chicken loop this is not an issue. This could be why they guy in the store that you bought the spreader bar didn't' mention it. This wasn't in our store correct? Thanks for the comment!
Hi does the bar come with a leash attachment point? I can see in the video you have a ring on the webbing strap but my harness doesn't have this.
the metal part of that buckle looks skinny ... way too skinny.
