Notes:
~ Be advised that the rope behind the plastic spreader bar can wear ~50% *more* than what is visible on the outside.
~ When installing the end with the figure eight knot (opposite the end with the rope lock) be sure to orient the knot so that the rope drops down straight through the hole in the spreader bar. Otherwise the rope will bend through the hole in the spreader bar causing unnecessary wear.

I suggest to buy SK99 dyneema in any nautical shop, it is better than the original and you can buy it 2 meters for less than 6$/5€ 🤙

Great vid thanks for showing everyone. I was wondering if it was possible to over tighten the bolts as I saw on another vid that I am supposed to hear some sort of click when the bolts are tight enough then you back turn half a turn. is there any truth to that.

So if buying the long rope kit, you get the plastic bit and metal ring, so you can basically convert your hook model to a slider easily

no you need to buy the steel bracing behind the spreader bars that accommodates the ropes as the hook on the kite spreader bar is welded and all the holes are welded closed
