I love ancient stories from areas passed down through the generations. I have collected a lot of old Scottish stories, mostly from Skye and the isles because that's where my mother's people are from. It is a shame that they are getting lost and forgotten, these old stories from all over the World. They are part of history even though a lot of it is mystical and supernatural. This video is great 👍. Well done.
I'd like to see the original copy no interpretation voice overlay over Late Fannie Nicori's voice, I was way to young to remember the whole story, it was always the same way. The story was passed down to her about the lake, the elders that hunted up there said lakes up in the mountains are connected to each other via underground rivers and such underground waterways
There are communities in the world that Native man and white man grow up together we learn math and science together we learn about white pine spirit together we love each other all other is just narrative

We need more like this!
I wonder if there is a genetic difference between the memories of story telling cultures and the cultures that started writing everything down.
There is no "writing gene"
Either you write, or you don't
@@Rotebuehl1 are you a geneticist?
@Rotebuehl1 also I would add your response is just kind of dumb
