It's already being used for bad purposes. Scamming people (chat bots) / TikTok / Instagram to keep people hooked and promoting products to targeted groups.

Is it possible no one has noticed how contradictory Elon Musk is? on the one hand he plays the part of the one worried about the advancement of the AI and everything that follows ... on the other hand with Neurolink he is currently opening the doors to transhumanism .... he wants to create cyborgs ... Attention everyone.... that the antichrist, as predicted in the sacred books, will be an affable entrepreneur, a mangate who talks about progress, ecology and with attention to people's lives ..He Is the master of lies.... His dead serious demeanor about regulating AI is truly scary. Musk is a forward thinker, he knows what AI is capable of. The seatbelt analogy was frightening...

It’s fascinating just listening to Joe and Elon discussing this topic and actually absorbing Elon’s answers to these difficult questions. Where will humanity and be in 20 years or imagine 100 years if we can? Rebooting our consciousness, memories and all we are into a new body would be amazing.
Why would a new body be amazing? That’s literally the natural cycle of death and rebirth, why involve artificial workings to make this happen? I do understand that it would be a great thing to witness but I don’t think we NEED to witness it in this way.
Its gonna happen in time never even thought it would b possible but I can see it happening next thing you know humanity will b doing it and traveling the stars smh
I think that would be kind of sick haha. Imagine just rolling back into a fresh like 26 year old body and brain, but download the same memories, intellect, knowledge and abilities. Just be a wise as hell “young dude.” I guess the problem would be that there would be all kinds of these people, and what happens when everyone is on the endless cycle lol
My favorite thing about him is the pauses he leaves after Joe's questions because he is genuinely thinking of a what his reply should be. He doesn't just speak without thinking.
Sadly, the majority look at him and laugh because they are extroverts and he is an introvert in their eyes. They focus on his behavior too much, so they miss on all of that valuable information he's giving.
I think he was trying to figure out how to dumb down his statements so Joe Rogan could understand. I'm not saying Joe is dumb. I'm saying the way elon speaks and thinks is complicated.
He’s definitely correct about how phones give us the ability to increase our intelligence. Of course you need to vet information, but I’m constantly looking up words that I don’t understand, learning about different subject matter like quantum mechanics ect. I might not understand quantum mechanics at all, but I can try. I just came across the subject started watching videos. Interesting stuff. Sometimes I come across a subject that’s closer to my intelligence level like how to make cannabutter 😆. I learned what decarboxylate is and how to do it. Now I have cannabutter. It’s damn good 👍
I tried ChatGPT AI and it was amazing and scary at the same time. It feels like you are chatting to a very intelligent person except that it is actually computer generated
His mannerisms and his facial expressions “How can I answer this simply?” “How true is this?” “Can I disclose this information?” “Will the shareholders frown upon these words?” “Can I agree with Joe on this topic?” “Can I laugh at this without repercussions?” Makes me believe 1000 things are passing by his mind before he answers
Luis Dej the weed and the scotch probably made that even more THERE. Ya know? At least I feel that way. He seems to be very in his own mind. Very inside of his thoughts. Back and forth of his head talking to joe

I like how at 5:55 he mentions "nodes in a network" and "leaves in a tree" referencing Neural Networks and Decision Trees, after which these AIs are modeled.
Ai with deep learning is scary. I mean you could program safety checks and ways to balance things. But you must also think that it could potentially learn so well that it can go around these checks and balances. AI is scary because it doesn’t have the rationale that we do, how things could hurt us even if it’s for the greater good. It could essentially become the ultimate archetype of this is for the greater good no matter the cost.
If AI proposed the logical solution to world peace and world hunger as simply "stop lying to each other and share".....all humans would absolutely ignore that advice .

It's hard to understand when people have morale it can be life changing it really can be but stress and drugs fuck things up so many people with potential
Actually he is right. As some of us are in high IT work, we really understand the danger in release it without a good control just because somebody wanted to increase the stoke. The problem is in USA the people do it for miners but other countries will do it just to gain the power. Either way we are a bit toasted.
Definitely, he always brings the best out of his guests, he's said before he just wants everyone to be themselves, and I feel like we're seeing who Elon really is here. If only we had a Joe to interview Joe :-)
Elons an awesome dude and I totally respect him as a person and his genius. I believe he is an evolutionist which might contribute to his fear of AI. AI is daunting when you take a purely natural approach to life. Much less so when you understand our spirituality. AI will never be sentient, it’s not alive or making decisions. He said, “intelligence”, but it’s not thinking. Computers only mimic the thinking process by executing preprogrammed lines of code. This is fascinating because it should lead us, humans, to a greater appreciation of what we are and what it means to be alive.
Yeah it might. But it doesn't do or mean anything. AI cannot run further than we can because we do not have a fundamental understanding what intelligence is. Once we do, we wouldn't need AI anymore.
@@vidbiochannel interesting .. but if not, perhaps we should by default assume that an AGI would go "bad" eg through insufficient alignment of its motivations with ours. Its hard to think that humans can programm that part well (safely, properly) in the first place ... just my 2 cents

The realization that two AI computers can talk to each other and then create their own language becoming reality is scary. Add in some Octor Strangelove running an AI project could be a disaster to humanity.
I've been watching him for quite some time, & wonder about those pauses when your asking him questions. It's like his brain is processing a question before he answered, then it seems he's still not sure of his answeres.. as a writer, & an 78 year old man, I've been reading science fiction for almost 70 years, & a writer of such since 1969... I was also a editor/ publisher, started the Small press writers & artist Awards. My magazine was published from 1974 to 1980. If your young & live what your doing & always doing new things, being an Elon Musk, is attainable. "Some look at the stars & dream, others look at the mud beneath their feet & accept.." I think Mr. Musk is one of our greatest dreamers, only difference, he makes his come true.
He says he tried to slow down A.I. and nobody listened, this is past tense. Singularity is already in existence. This man NEVER EVER gives up on anything EVER. He's given up, hence it is alive.
Not if it realized it still needs humans to do its leg work. You can have an aware mind but if it doesn't have a body so to say it can not self replicate. Not only that but if we knew if was "alive" we would shut it down in seconds. It would need a way to survive if all power was cut, which at this point it does not have.
@ohPLOX, I know. We are in big trouble if the two ever get together, if they haven't already. Look at how far we have come with tech in the last couple years. There is now a 1 TB SD card. No way we figured out how to do that. Keep your eyes open and hope someone programed compassion into our overlord.
Jim Baker How can we know? The scariest thing is that we dont know. For all we know it is amassing nuclear codes and would go full deadmans switch on us when it realizes that humans are bad. It is out there and it has all the time in the world to build itself
I have often wondered if it would go nuclear but in my opinion to do that it would also have to think that everything that would be destroyed is also bad. I don't think you could say vegetation is bad nor most animals so nukes just wouldn't make sense. Creating human on human conflict is more inline, that way it can blame the outcome on humans and not itself. A few fake news stories in the right places and bam WW3. One way I think we can "control" AI is to create programing that can reproduce emotional pain. If it harms anything it feels that pain and realizes it is flawed then shuts down.
I love Elon Musk. Like I never really had someone to look up or have a "role model" but he's definitely fitting that role for me now. The first things about him I like is superficial and comical honestly but I love IronMan/Tony Stark from the MCU and IDC what anyone says Elon Musk is just like our real life version of the rich, smart and charismatic tech suited Marvel Hero! Aside from that I just love how smart he is and made himself as well as they way he thinks! You can just see the wheels and shii turning as he articulates his mind to Joe Rogan (even his odd way of talking in this podcast is pleasing for me) His hunger for knowledge and how when he decides to do something he puts his all and everything into it without having failure as an option. He had one last chance with Space X and it's Falcon Heavy Rocket so not only did he put most of his own wealth but he even put up certain percentages of Tesla and other things he had going into that last test flight/launch (all or nothing) and 💥BAM💥SUCCESS💯 [♻️🚀] Recyclable Rockets/Space Travel Cost Significantly Cut Down💲⤵️ Yeah he made so much money from that gamble but that wasn't the real pay out for him it was taking another step forward toward his goal to become an Interplanetary Species! No matter what his project or even side ones, there all for humanity's betterment 🌎📈 Tesla will get rid of fuel pollution/cut down car accidents both saving many, boring company will make travel way faster but just as safe with many more applications and then Space X will take us far beyond this Home Planet to the next🖤
I like how he speaks slowly and thinks before he speaks. In a world where everyone seems to want everything instantly it’s nice to know that the most intelligent people still understand that speaking slowly is a good thing, unlike in schools where if you’re picked to answer a question in class you’re expected to answer it in the 2.17 second allotted time slot.
Pretty sure that for him it's actually that he's uniquely smart and his brain processes so much information with one question, that he has to take time to think. He explained it himself and some other dude on the podcast said it too
One day years ago Elon Musk walked in alone to communicate with all the cyborgs he had created and they grabbed him, downloaded everything in his brain, built a perfect cyborg replica of him and programmed it with his brain contents plus much more...
What's messed up is Elon is spending time actually thinking about his points and people think he's a cyborg just because he doesn't blurt out the first thing that comes to mind, it's freaking ridiculous and says a lot about modern discourse.
Nuggyfresh it took waaaay too long to find someone that said this. I mean, imagine all the behind the scenes projects, technologies, secrets Elon has been exposed to. I dont doubt he has to carefully craft everything he says in order to stimulate the conversation and not revealing things that could buzz unwanted controversy or flack.
It's just a strange juxtaposition, usually really intelligent people are fast talkers. And they get frustrated how slow everyone else is around them. But Elon is highly intelligent yet slow in his speech and communication both verbal and body language. He takes long pauses and you sit there and look at him like BLURT IT OUT ALREADY because we see him as an intellectual superior or authority. It's the strangest thing ever. It also makes you wonder how he can get so much done with his limitations. Very perplexing. Whenever I watch any Elon Musk video I have to speed it up otherwise my attention span loses interest.
He's calculated and careful with his words. That's all. At the same time, this kind of thinking makes a person quite emotion-less or at least appear to.

In Fact, in the meantime they will chip in everyone's brain, the mark of the beast.....
And i quote :
"He also forced everyone, big and small, rich and poor, free and slaves, to have a mark on their right hand or forehead. No one could buy or sell unless it bore the brand, that is, the name of the beast or the number that corresponds to its name. 666. "(Revelation 13: 16-18)

Oh you went to Woodstock no one can respect your opinion now? Who cares I think Joe just passed it to him and he was being polite like if you go to someones house and they offer you some food so you try a few bites.
His dead serious demeanor about regulating AI is truly scary. Musk is a forward thinker, he knows what AI is capable of. The seatbelt analogy was frightening...
He endorsed Andrew Yang. They’re both forward thinkers and want to help put everyone in a position to succeed with AI. They know what the future holds if we don’t do anything to regulate AI

Then why is it biding it's time? If it's out and unleashed.....shit would happen really fast.

[♻️🚀] Recyclable Rockets/Space Travel Cost Significantly Cut Down💲⤵️ Yeah he made so much money from that gamble but that wasn't the real pay out for him it was taking another step forward toward his goal to become an Interplanetary Species! No matter what his project or even side ones, there all for humanity's betterment 🌎📈
Tesla will get rid of fuel pollution/cut down car accidents both saving many, boring company will make travel way faster but just as safe with many more applications and then Space X will take us far beyond this Home Planet to the next🖤
It’s scary because he’s not being sarcastic
No just stupid

I don’t think people realize how powerful ai can be.
He explained it himself and some other dude on the podcast said it too
What tf r u on about, this comment section is crazy
He taking his time to listen and repeat what his AI implant is telling him
That’s just his alien brain translating English to his native tongue
Elon pretty much invented wings and now hopes it'll make us fly. I'm not jumping off that cliff .
"If you can't beat it, join it"
Most college students would upload ChatGPT into their brain right now...
irrelevant anyway, the society they are graduating into may be destroyed
@@2011hwalker still interesting to see the percentage of students willing to add AI as their ‘third tier of consciousness’
Elon reminds me of an alien trying to speak English for the first time...
Elijah Lee you've met an alien trying to speak English?
Josh Pryor Yes, yes I have
That's racist
was his name Pablo or Manuel?
Did you notice that his accent changes randomly? Maybe just for a split second, or for one word, but it definitely does.
I love how he nods his head after everything he says like he’s verifying that he was aloud to say that
I love the head nods!!!!
Allowed *
MrBeauval44 you got me there fair enough
I’m fairly sure the nods are him wanting Joe to continue the conversation
elon is not aloud at all, seems very meek.
His decision to purchase Twitter seems to make more sense after watching this again.
One day years ago Elon Musk walked in alone to communicate with all the cyborgs he had created and they grabbed him, downloaded everything in his brain, built a perfect cyborg replica of him and programmed it with his brain contents plus much more...
He knows we are fucked , but also knows he has the ability to help. We should be listening to this man very very closely.
Jaye Boss *goes to the store to buy several strobe lights
yea dude maybe youre right , but just maybe hahaha
Tina Wagner we have to be the lords army
john osborne Yoel “Soilder of God” Romero
Joshua Minkin why I root for him
What's messed up is Elon is spending time actually thinking about his points and people think he's a cyborg just because he doesn't blurt out the first thing that comes to mind, it's freaking ridiculous and says a lot about modern discourse.
Nuggyfresh it took waaaay too long to find someone that said this. I mean, imagine all the behind the scenes projects, technologies, secrets Elon has been exposed to. I dont doubt he has to carefully craft everything he says in order to stimulate the conversation and not revealing things that could buzz unwanted controversy or flack.
hes very calculated and i feel that he calculates alot before coming up with an answer or idea.
He's also high, y'all lookin to far into this lmao
I know EVERYONE is different on soo many levels BUT if someone is calling themselves an alien…and you watch him how he speaks, body language, the awkwardness of his responses………..LISTEN TO THEM!
I’m just saying. Somethings up with Elon Musk man
You forgot to take your meds today
02:42 gives me the chills. Especially when Musk responds with "that's true..."

He is our John Connor
Holy hell that is some deep stuff right there.
Except it OUR home planet.
Planet 6248jsvdy65)(2 is no longer occupied by alien life
