I think I've fallen in love with Jay.. The sheer sexiness and power when he dances makes me swoon

Aliona is my most missed dancer. She was so good and has that extra quality that makes her so watchable.

Loved this dance. Definitely underscored. Best Paso so far in a male celebrity this series. Who cares that he's had dance training ? People tend to forget he stopped his training in his late teens and I bet all the training he's had did not prepare him for ballroom and latin.
Agree, Jay might have had training but unless it was ballroom and latín it sometimes makes it more difficult.

I thought this was worthy of a much higher score! And those complaining the song was bad... I thought it was amazing! As a fan of Bon Jovi I thought the band n singer did a good job, it's a hard song to sing! But it def fit Jays style n I LOVED it!!!!!!!

How does Aliona somehow convey a story through each routine she seems to do it with any kind of music she gets.. and this performance is bloody brilliant im out of breath by the end of it like I'm dancing on the floor with them.

Well, because its a TV show and they need to add some drama. So, they knock the best dancer down a peg or two in order to make his/her come back dance the best anyone has ever seen. It would be pretty boring if week after week the same best dancer got the highest score. Don't ya think? Without the needed drama people would become bored w/ the predictability and stop watching and that would be bad for everyone, for sure.

because there was nothing paso about it...it looked more like a rumba or some other flirty dance...the essence of the pasodoble is the bullfighting part
You're totally wrong...the essence is an arrogant male who is not afraid (chest forward) literally walking (mars tempo) into an arena (the pasea) with a female representing his cape (dancing around him with large movements)...This was an excellent Paso Doble

I thought Jay and Aliona's paso doble was amazing and now, a few weeks later, I still think it looks like one of the top two, even with Anita and Georgia's performances. I hope he gets to do another paso doble or repeat this performance with all he's learnt over the last few weeks because this was stunning.
