Beautiful guitar I have 2 Burnys both this color but later ones made in China but I gotta say super impressed with quality, fit and finish and they both have super low action and I just ordered a black beauty made in Japan should be here this weak the seller told me it’s the cleanest vintage one I will find paid $1099 can’t wait to get it👍🏻

I have the same guitar and I love it. The neckprofile is just wonderful, different from a gibson, but the shape is so nice, as if it was carved to the curve of my palm. My favorite guitar

I recently got a 1990s black Burny RLC-60, and absolutely love it. I have a Gibson LP Standard, but I'm loving the Burny just as much. The Burny pickups are a little less hot compared to the 498 in my Gibson, and I play pretty high gain stuff, so I've found that I can crank the gain, and Burny pickups not only tame it a little where there's a nice clarity to it, but on the clean channel, the Burny pickups sound better than the Gibson, which tend to be a bit too pokey. I was a little apprehensive about ordering from Japan, but I'm glad a I did, it was a painless process, and I got a good deal on it.

Nice guitar! Fernandes never had its own manufacturing. They contracted various factories in Japan over the years. Mainly they are now made in China (since the early 2000s). Only their high end models are currently made in Japan. In the 90's the Burny branded guitars were manufactured by Dyna Gakki (the factory that currently makes Fender Japan guitars).
I have a 1999 Burny John Sykes modal (RLC modal with chrome hardware) that was made by Dyna Gakki (the type of routes will often tell you which factory made it). Found it at a thrift store here in Japan for about $160 USD
