That's kinda the point of the song. He knew they were a comedy band and understood that they went for the joke. The joke being the song is from the perspective of a psychotic Bruce Campbell fan. The man himself would probably follow the same method they did to get a laugh because he understands the difficulty of finding where the dramatic/comedic beats lie.

Yea, he's still not particularly famous, or obscenely rich, but a bit too wealthy to still consider himself part of the "middle class" anymore. The guy could retire tomorrow and never have to worry about money. (Good for him, he deserves it, but he's come a long way from the days of "Mindwarp")
