Selling that hate for a fee. So typical. You demonize the weakest among us because you’re not capable of anything else . You give permission to the “Patriots”to openly abuse transgender Americans. My son who is transgender comes home from work and just goes to his room to cry . He’s 23. Does that feel good to y’all preachy , judgmental Dunning-Kruger specimens. The suicide rate among transgender people is so high because these surgeries and hormone blockers that leave these people to become permanently sterile and with no libido. How is it that anyone would put their own children through this, I have no idea. Probably for attention seeking purposes.

Generally my view is that a mental health problem shouldn't be dealt with by surgical methods. The last time this was common, was back in the era of Transorbital lobotomies, and they haven't gone down well in history. There ARE exceptions to this view. I have a friend who was born female, but is now in the process of transitioning to a male identity and having a pseudopenis constructed. For him, (as he will become) it ISN'T going to be a tremendous mistake. He's had a LONG time thinking about this, and at the age of 30 has finally made the decision. I'm 100% sure that it's NOT just her being an 'attention seeker' or 'going through a phase', she has ALWAYS during the 12 or so years that I've known her, been more like a man than many men. For people like her (or him as he is now), it's acceptable. Doing this sort of thing to a child, is nothing short of ABUSE! There is NO way that it should be allowed for under 18s! I know 2 people who have gone down this road......One of them, I feel that it's probably the right thing for him (formerly her), the other one, after 10 years of pretending to be a woman, and verbally abusing anyone who disagreed, has finally decided that he wants to keep his penis. He was nothing more than an attention seeking prick the whole time.
Are you advocating for surgeries or against them? First you say they are invasive and shouldn’t treat “mental health problems” Then you admit you wouldn’t respect your friends identity until they had the surgery. There are many reason for not getting surgery none of which are that they aren’t actually trans. Genitalia is an indicator of sex not gender bottom surgery won’t change someone’s gender. People don’t become someone different when they transition they just begin living authentically.
Criminal conduct against children needs to be prosecuted and punished.
