Wanna fix that klein handle I know guys who drilled tiny 1/16th holes diagonally through the plastic and epoxied pins into keep it from rolling. Honestly if I was using mine as much as you I would call it the cost of business and buy a new one every so often and pass the old one on to a buddy or hoard the bits as replacements. You can also get uxcell heat shrinks in that fantastic purple or whatever you want and keep it moving for good 👍 (I use thoes heatshrink on all stainless drywall tools they don't move around or wash off)
that specific wire stripper/crimper is the first klein tool i got that i didnt like, mine came out of the box very stiff and next loosened up even after trying zoom spout oil and wd-40 after that didnt work. hopefully yours works better out of the box!
Hopefully! I've eyed it so many times so I wanted to try it. If not I think I'll go back to my old Klein strippers with the regular cutter/crimper. Tried and true
I used to carry the channel lock wide azz 8” crescent but went to the Klein. I have all 3 sizes and carry the 8” in my bag. The tolerances are nice and tight with them. I like the looks of the Milwaukee stuff and might have to give them a shot. Good stuff as always brother.
Klein has a seperate bit rail now that goes up to 3/4” for that driver. I have the USA made Milwaukee needle nose. I’m comparing the Milwaukee driver now with the Klein to see which like best. It’s been back and forth so far. Haven had an issue with my new Klein handles but yeah the ones from last year sucked, also the bit carousel in the hand sucked also. I think they’ve fixed all of the now.
That's what I thought but I wanted to try something new and a little smaller. I got that new flip socket with the 9/16 & 3/4 but I think I left it in the install bag for now
The Klein Ratcheting Crimper (3005CR) is my favorite crimp tool, It makes great crimps every time. I haven't tried either flip sockets yet, might need to give those Milwaukee ones a try
The best adjustable wrenches on the market that aren't 50 years old... Milwaukee wide 8in (has 4th knurl has little to no slop made in Taiwan sold at local HD) Bahco (narrow jaws extra wide good quality the one I carry myself better than channelock by far get it on az) Lobster japan (cheap but good quality make in Japan better than that China stuff from klein) Nepros japan (expensive limited sizes but a work of art built impeccable) In the end check out the milwaukee there fantastic or bahco is next best choice without getting silly money.
That Klein 2005n is still in my tool bag, but I did the opposite and picked up the combination needle nose/ strippers for tight spots. Having those two still eliminates having to carry extra tools.
Idk I usually prefer to cut the bolts after everything is installed. The magnet might still get in the way if you don't cut it flush enough on the new motor
I told myself, I wasn't going to buy any more tools.

That never happens. 🛠️

Now your going to be frustrated stripping wire in a tight spot.
😂 stripping wires ain't too bad but when it's time to crimp I don't want to be fumbling and dropping the connectors

This Klein cutters/strippers are great. You’ll love it

Yeah those are the good ones I hear, maybe for my install bag 🤔

the new milwaukee american dikes are awesome. Super sharp and durable
You gonna make me make another trip 🤦🏽♂️😂
I think putting V-swap panels into a different bag to add vertical pockets is a great idea!

That's probably the way to go, I might play around with different combos
Pretty sure you can cut the bolts for the 11/32 nuts with the kleins needle nose strippers. Then you dont need a hollow shaft.
Idk I usually prefer to cut the bolts after everything is installed. The magnet might still get in the way if you don't cut it flush enough on the new motor
I like the needle nose with strippers but always have preferred a crimper / cutter
Yeah I could have kept it and just gotten the cutter crimper but I couldn't help myself
@@ReliableHVACR it’s definitely enticing haha . Who doesn’t like new tools .
