Oh honey I have my baby in a box that will be sprinkled with me when I die. I do understand everything you just said. He got the back burner sometimes and he was so sweet about it. I raised my kids with this beautiful sweet lab. He was the dog of my life. It still hurts but the crying has finally stopped. Be kind to yourself and know you always did the best you could in that moment. I don’t know you but it’s clear by just watching your vids that you are that kind of person. ❤
At least he’s in a better place and at peace AND he had the most loving and amazing family. The way he would wag his tail and get excited to see you in your other videos always made me smile.

I am deeply sorry for your loss! I feel your pain, my little man Charlie left this world in 2016 and honestly I still brakedown crying from time to time if a song comes on that reminds me of him. Axle will always be a part of your family, and his memory and spirit will always be alive in her heart. Picture him running in an open field where the grass is green and there’s endless sticks floating around for him to chase lol. That’s what I do and it helps. Harli, I am so sorry for your loss. The guilt thing is so real. I felt that guilt for years when my dog died. My dad comforted me by telling me that our dog lived a happy life because he was loved so much and the way he acted toward me proved how much he loved me back as well. The way Axel would come with you as you drank your coffee or comforted you proves he loved you and he was reflecting the love you gave him. 🩵💜🩷💛

I missed this video because we are gonna have a freeze. 24 degrees in Florida is a big headache. Harli I'm so sorry about your puppy baby. That is what he was...your baby. It took us 12 years to get another. We were so afraid that we would be disappointed because "Ranger" had been so smart. "Mo" actually picked us. He's a Labradoodle and is actually smarter than Ranger. We have to be grateful for the time that we have with them. Really just LOVE them to death !!! ❤️🐶❤️

I’m so sorry Harli. It’s never easy to lose your best friend and buddy. I’ve been through this also and the days do get easier but it takes time. It’s been 5 years since we had to put our oldest boy down and I still grieve him to this day. Allow yourself to cry, it helps.

I’m so, so sorry ❤ I lost my soul dog a little over a month ago and it’s so hard. The best advice anyone has given me has been “be kind to yourself.” I didn’t understand what they meant until I started guilt tripping myself with “I should have”s. You gave Axel all that you could, and it’s perfectly normal that your all looked different at different points in your life. The second best was that it’s ok to take as long as you need to grieve, and it’s ok to remind other people that you’re grieving when it starts to feel like your world has been disrupted and everyone else is moving along like nothing has changed. I’ve also been in a roll with new plants lately.. 😂 we deserve them right now, it’s fine!
I found my mom's body the same day Axel passed if it was Thursday 12/8. I'm sorry for your loss, that's awful. Grief is terrible. I hope you're gentle with yourself as you grieve and go through all of the emotions. I hope the new plants help you to find some joy.❤️🩹
So sorry for your loss. It's never easy. I've always heard never reuse old soil because all the nourishment was used up by the plant. And I found that my transplants always do better with new soil rather than the old soil. If you nourish your soil yourself befor using, you shouldn't have a problem.
Hugs dude. I feel that guilt you’re describing. You’re recent video doing a tour of your mom’s plants made me think of myself because I also own a LOT of dogs because i rescue and train shelter dogs. I lost “my” dog though in September of 2021. I got covid in the weeks before he passed and just suffer from mental health stuff in general so I feel a lot of hurt surrounding that same wish of giving him more in those times when I just couldn’t. Your tears and love you show for Axel shows you gave him more than most dogs get in their life time. He was very lucky and loved and I hope you find comfort in remembering that.

I'm so sorry harli they really are a member of the family rather then a pet. My sister lost her dog on Dec 10th and is absolutely heart broken. As for myself my dog is in his older years and blind now I have to carry him up and down stairs to go out for a pee and I know I'll go through all the pain and waterworks as well. Their lives really are not long enough! Wishing you many happy times to come and deeply sorry for your loss.

This year I lost two of my kitties and it’s been really really tough waking up every day, feeding the other pets, watering plants, and be a mom when you feel like you’re missing part of you. But, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one going through it and we will be ok. Just like plants we are resilient and we will keep growing. stumbled across your youtube looking for ikea cabinets and now i’ve been watching your videos all morning (tons of great stuff!) when I got to this video I cried with you about to loss of your dog, then I cried even more when I saw it was so recently, ugh. I know how hard it is, and how hard it is to not have any regrets when we lose a loved one… hang in there.

Harli, I’ve been watching you for a few years now and I’ve never commented on your videos because I always watch on my TV vs my phone but I felt compelled to grab my phone and leave you a little message after watching your intro, I shared tears with you. Just know that Axel was one of the lucky ones (and he is so aware) to have been loved by you for his life. Even from the other side, he’s always with you. I’m sending prayers of comfort, love and healing while you navigate this heartbreaking loss.

I’m so sorry Harli. It’s never easy to lose your best friend and buddy. I’ve been through this also and the days do get easier but it takes time. It’s been 5 years since we had to put our oldest boy down and I still grieve him to this day. Allow yourself to cry, it helps.

I’m so sorry Harli. Our dogs are loved so so much that when it’s time for them to pass we think we will never be happy again. But take heart, the happy memories will replace the hurt in time. Grief is the price we have to pay for love but I’m here to tell you that it will get easier 💕

I’m so sorry to hear about your loss Harli. About the soil I re use mine all the time. I never used to but the longer I had plants the more I’ve realized it really doesn’t matter.
I am sorry for the loss of your furry friend Harli. I dread the day and cry with you friend. Also I don't like my used soil going to waste but I put it all in a bag and use it outside in my yard to fill mole hole dents or for my outdoor pots.

I'm so sorry about ur furbaby. I totally feel ur pain as I lost 2 of mine in a 2 week period this year. It was soooo hard so do self care and grieve...and know we r here for u if u ever need it.
Aww Harli 🥺😭 Wanting to give you the biggest hug right now. That made me even cry. I'm so sorry. This is a really hard year so far, I lost my puppy in March right before my baby was born. So postpartum was that much more lovely. I am so so sorry for your loss ❤️. I definitely know how hard your heart hurts right now. Big bear hugs for you.

So sorry for your loss. It is heartbreaking. I lost my Abby (white Hyland terrier) last year she was 10 yrs old. We have years of memories and pictures to help us heal.

I’m so, so sorry ❤ I lost my soul dog a little over a month ago and it’s so hard. The best advice anyone has given me has been “be kind to yourself.” I didn’t understand what they meant until I started guilt tripping myself with “I should have”s. You gave Axel all that you could, and it’s perfectly normal that your all looked different at different points in your life. The second best was that it’s ok to take as long as you need to grieve, and it’s ok to remind other people that you’re grieving when it starts to feel like your world has been disrupted and everyone else is moving along like nothing has changed.
I’ve also been in a roll with new plants lately.. 😂 we deserve them right now, it’s fine!

I found my mom's body the same day Axel passed if it was Thursday 12/8. I'm sorry for your loss, that's awful. Grief is terrible. I hope you're gentle with yourself as you grieve and go through all of the emotions. I hope the new plants help you to find some joy.❤️🩹

I've always heard never reuse old soil because all the nourishment was used up by the plant. And I found that my transplants always do better with new soil rather than the old soil. If you nourish your soil yourself befor using, you shouldn't have a problem.
Hugs dude. I feel that guilt you’re describing. You’re recent video doing a tour of your mom’s plants made me think of myself because I also own a LOT of dogs because i rescue and train shelter dogs. I lost “my” dog though in September of 2021. I got covid in the weeks before he passed and just suffer from mental health stuff in general so I feel a lot of hurt surrounding that same wish of giving him more in those times when I just couldn’t. Your tears and love you show for Axel shows you gave him more than most dogs get in their life time. He was very lucky and loved and I hope you find comfort in remembering that.

I'm so sorry harli they really are a member of the family rather then a pet. My sister lost her dog on Dec 10th and is absolutely heart broken. As for myself my dog is in his older years and blind now I have to carry him up and down stairs to go out for a pee and I know I'll go through all the pain and waterworks as well. Their lives really are not long enough! Wishing you many happy times to come and deeply sorry for your loss.

Harli, you're not alone. Being a Mom is tough, and I've been exactly where you are with my doggies... just remember you did the best you could and often times I think for our beloved animals, this is more than enough for them even though we'd love to give them the world ❤🩷

Thanks for talking about this. This year I lost two of my kitties and it’s been really really tough waking up every day, feeding the other pets, watering plants, and be a mom when you feel like you’re missing part of you. But, it’s nice to know I’m not the only one going through it and we will be ok. Just like plants we are resilient and we will keep growing. Maybe our leaves are going to be a little juveniles for a bit, but with time we will thrive again. ❤ keep your head up and thanks again for sharing
