Their harmonies were second to none.
Correction: “are” ( in my opinion) 🙂
i respectfully disagree😁....2nd to Jodeci ....
ARE
@@kovachskorner3322 ya kci and Jojo go crazy too
@@anthonyo455 Were. They’re not the same since losing their bass. They still get it, but a four part harmony is the magic formula and it’s impossible for them to produce that live now without Mike. Nate is a capable bass singer, but he’s no Mike and can’t sing two parts at once.
This song always hit me hard.
Yes still makes me cry
The older you get, the more and more it hits home
It's a beautiful song. But it sure hits you in the feels when you're grieving.
Top 10 most emotional songs of all time.
I listened to this song approximately 47,693 times when it came out, and attempted to sing it most of those times, too. Boyz II Men had some good harmonies.
Whoa 😳 I never keep count myself I just know it’s to many times I listen to this song lol
@@MrBlackBono Hyperbole. :)
I was in middle and high school in the 90's (graduated in 1996) and Boyz II Men were everything.
Yes!
You not lying! I graduated in 97. And we had a lock-in at the school for all the seniors on graduation night….this was the last song they played before they opened the doors in the morning for us to leave and never see any of these people again…
FACTS I graduated in 98 and B2M were da bomb 🔥🔥🔥
Me too! Graduated in 1997!
Same here! 1995 graduate! B2M, Jodeci, Silk, Shai, HTown, Mint Condition, Maxwell, so many more. Great teenage memories ♥️
The song "Mama" always breaks my heart 💔!
This and The End of The Road are my top favourites from them. Also love Yesterday and Motown Philly. Much love from Canada :)
Hello fellow Canadian!
While watching this video I was only able to see the first line of your post where you said that your favs are this song and The End of the Road. To myself I said, “Yaass, but I also like Motown Philly & Yesterday, though.” I hit pause to come read the rest of your comment and saw Motown Philly & Yesterday…and Canada! Thank you!
Yesterday is my all time favorite.
Wow! Been awhile since I've heard this one. This was a remake song for Boyz ll Men. I first heard the original in the 70's from a movie called Cooley High. Great movie about some high school fellas' in 1960's Chicago. The song was playing during a funeral scene of one of the guys.
The original is by g c cameron
@@Msniquestarpg Which is the best version to me ..I do like this one too.. But the original Artist hit me harder to the soul.. reminiscing on Cochise funeral scene from 70's movie " Cooley High".
@@elisageorge1798 Classic.
@elisa george Never watched the movie. Will do so. Thanks.
@@elisageorge1798 I cry like I knew him personally everytime I watch it. 😭😭
Everything about this band was just pure class! Their harmonies were pure Heaven!
This was every funeral song for every young person back in the day. Modern Day Amazing Grace.
This song was used for every funeral and even graduation back in the day.
One of their best songs
Their rendition of this song is amazing, especially the harmony. In 1975, G.C. Cameron sang the original, which was part of the soundtrack for the movie "Cooley High". Check out the movie when you have a moment. In fact, when I graduated from the 8th grade (1976), we selected this as our graduation song. 🎶
Side note: G.C. Cameron was a Motown artist and (for a very short time) a member of the group The Spinners when he sang lead on their hit "It's a Shame" (1970). 🙂
I get some tears every time I hear this song. Every single time. A masterpiece.
Listen to this in Acapella! It's amazing.
One of my favorites. Sing it right along with them. I am a white 70 year old lady. They are singing for us all.
Still brings tears to my eyes. Boys to Men are just incredible. I feel honored to live in their city. So much soul.
This song right here always has me in my feelings. Check out the acapella version.
This beautiful song. Great harmony. To anyone who reads this who has lost a loved one, like myself, let's remember they will always be with us in our hearts! 🙏🙏
This song is guaranteed tears. This movie came out one summer i was a teenager….
Harmonies!! Hard to beat some beautiful Boyz II Men harmonies. This is a true classic.
Excellent choice! Loved them in the 90’s, and always will. ❤️
A heartfelt song with beautiful harmonies. Thank you for sharing something I wouldn't have found without you sharing it. 💖
This reminds me of all the important people I have loved the most- 93 man....wow!
Still can't listen to this song without crying!
R&B LEGENDS!! They are a step that walked so you could run!
I SOOOOOOO LOVE this song, thank you for the reaction of this song.
Can't go wrong with them. Check out "Girl on the Life Magazine", "Water Runs Dry", "4 Seasons of Loneliness"
Check out the group Take 6 - "Mary". They are an a cappella group from the '80s.
Y'all are on a roll! BoyzIIMen is my other favorite group! I've met them like five times! Great guys! Beautiful voices!
See the movie it’s from, “Cooley High”
This song always makes me cry 😢❤
This was my class graduation song. 🥺
Beautiful!!! Boyz to Men!!! Joan and Keith Bates thanks Tim and Fred
This cover was very popular. You should react to One Sweet Day a video with them and Mariah Carey. It’s fire 🔥
Not a fan of MC, but absolutely love that song.
They already did it.
A beautiful song. Hi from Ottawa Ontario Canada xo
This song was sung at my brother’s funeral. You know the rest!
Evoking the barbershop days, when city kids would gather on the stoops and sing in harmony. Def watch Cooley High. “For the brothers that couldn’t be here.”
It's hard to believe this song is over 30 years old! But I still got chills listening to it again just now.
This song is from the 70s.
Nobody does it better than Boyz II Men.
You guys are on a role today!!
Greatest funeral songs ever ⚱️⚰️💀🥀
Boys 2 men- Hard to say goodbye
Ghetto boys - 6ft deep
DRS - Gangsta Lean
2Pac Ain't mad at Cha
Also! Bones Thugs n Harmony- Crossroads (that one always gets me 🥺)
Blue Magic “What’s Come Over Me “ and “Spell”
Karen White “I’m not your Superwoman” 🥰
Takes me back to the movie "Cooley High". That made me cry.
If y'all haven't, do End of the Road by Boyz II Men. It's also amazing.
🔥🔥! Doing just fine is one of the most underrated boys to men songs out! You guys gotta react to that video. Wanya Morris goes off on that track!!!
Twins, you have to watch the movie that inspired this song: "Cooley High"!!
I can listen to this song over & over
I love this song. I listen to it often! Man oh man!
This is kind of their tribute to all of the greats in that day who passed on. If you look at the little black and white tv, they were shown there. I couldn’t see everyone, but one was Sammy Davis Jr., one of the entertainers who was part of the “Rat Pack,”
and another was our beloved Gilda Radner who played the popular “Rosanna Rosanna Danna” on Saturday Night Live. It’s worth doing a little research on these two.
They were the best!!!I love these guys to death!!!
Still makes me cry. Beautiful.
I lost my sister this past December. We had to make the decision to let her go. I had never heard this song. It is beautiful.
The original version by G.C. Cameron began this song's journey as a graduation & funeral song. Boys to Men made it their own! Thank you for reacting to it!
This was remade....it was on the movie Cooley High
They should watch it,I think they would like it.
RIP Khalil❤️❤️❤️This song was for their manager who was killed in Chicago trying to protect them from some worthless niggas with nothing (better to do) who wanted to get to their hotel room💔💔
He’s also who they dedicated One Sweet Day to🤎🤎
Boyz II Men is one of my fav groups, it goes to show they don't need instruments to perform a song. Beautiful a capella!!! They remind me of the group 4 PM. 😎👍🏻☮❤
The pain in this song growing up deep down love it
Ooooh I been waiting for y’all to do this one!
This came right on time. Thanks, guys. I knew this would wreck me, but I had to listen. I lost my dad seven years ago today. This song helps me let it out.
I remember this song well. It was near the end of a movie called Cooley High (which I hope you check out on your own). A cappella songs rock in my opinion. You get to hear real talent.
Also Barry White “Cant Get Enough of Your Love Babe”
I used to sing this to my husband after died. Jet noise, the sound of freedom. ❤❤❤ RIP Lt. Col. 😢
Best. Boy. Band. Ever. ❤️❤️❤️
I love it so much when Fred sings!
I found my older brother's tape of Boyz II Men when I was a teenager and was like, "What's this?" After listening to the first track, I immediately went on RUclips and found their discography and fell completely in love.
The were the real og talent. They sang from the depths of their soul
This is such a sad song can you react to Boyz II Men “Just Doin Fine”
I love that song too. Shawn really gets to shine.
Imma 45 year old white guy from Austin, but lemme tell you, ya'll BY FAR the best RUclipsrs I have seen in awhile. You got honesty flying off, good opinions, and you're inclusive, something we all need so badly. I'm grabbing merch for my fam tomorrow, gotta support what you value. Keep doin what you doin, you know how valuable it is. Just putting it out there, but my fave reaction vids: Snoop's Gin & Juice, Xtina's Beautiful, Em's Stan, SIR and Kendrick's Hair Down (y'all were truly vining), and Joyner Lucas' I'm Not Racist. That last one...I love that you did something so raw that can touch nerves. That conversation need to happen and I know it. Keep looking forward, being yourselves and bringing your tolerant, street wise perspective to the table..and your joy. The world needs all that; your impact is larger than you know, keep it coming.
I hear or learn something knew most times when i watch your channel or read the comments. Luv yuh❤
I will always think of my son , Jovie, who passed , we grew up together. I was 15 when I had him,
In Chicago, this song would always play at graduations. 💖
Damn...forgot all about this one. This is my second favorite; Yesterday is my all time GOAT that Boys to Men Did. Thanks for sharing!
This song makes me cry! The film was pretty cool too
Should check out Johnny Gill “My My My” lots of love guys on these videos
Makes me cry...every fricken time.
Boyz II Men have so many good songs but you should check out "Thank You". It shows off their vocal talent and harmonies in a super upbeat jamming song.
One of the best Boyz II men song!
II was an incredible album.
Again, I will say, you are slowly reacting to every song on my 1991 mixtape called “The Quiet Storm”, lol
This is such a phenomenal song 🔥🔥🔥
Check out their duet with Mariah Carey " 1 sweet day" 😉
I think they already did.
They reacted to it. Here's the link. ruclips.net/video/aMIzEZVUHK4/видео.html
This song is sung at a lot of African American funerals. The original version of this song is on the soundtrack of the movie Cooley High. Always brings tears to my eyes.
My favorite by them ❤❤❤
It’s hard to find a song by Boyz ll Men that isn’t amazing, one of my all time favorite bands. This song was played at my friends brothers funeral and everytime I hear it I think of him. RIP Brian 🥺 Please react to Deliverance by Rationale💚💚💚
My student mentees played this when my brother passed in 1993. I always think of him when I hear this version.
Boyz ll Men can sing like NO ONE else can!
This song came out my senior year in HS. This was our class song… I think it was a common choice with other high schools too
They came out the end of my junior year of high school and everyone I knew was hyped because kids from our hometown of Philly made it. Twins react to their video Uhh Ahh
The harmonies in the song sound so great but the title of the song speaks volumes and I'm pretty sure we've all had to be in a place it just resonate
Everyone guy that passed away in the 90s, this song played. Every female, was the Sister song from Set it Off, especially when they were younger.
This is a remake. The song was originally done for the movie Cooley High performed by G.C. Cameron. Boys to Men did a great job on the remake
Always will be epic for one reason or another trust and believe me💯💜
Ya gotta check out their song Doin' Just fine. Beautiful harmonies
I somehow just stumbled on your channel and I love it. You guys are too precious. Almost all of your reactions are from my childhood to teen years which IMO is some of the best music. Can’t hear Boys II Men. Jodeci is amazing as well as 112. I also recommend System of a Down BYOB and Chop Suey, as well as Guns n Roses Don’t Cry, Welcome to the Jungle and November Rain. All classics.
Always a tear jerker man.
With their homies and those of En Vogue, the 90s were very pleasant for my ears.
You can add Gangsta Lean to your sad playlist.
I believe every class of ‘92 had this as their class song
There was short one that strained alot when he sang, the tall Gumby one, the one with a big jaw, the one that talked I loved them all
