I draw the line on MAGA. This is not the old Republican Party. I don’t agree with any of them but I could meet in the middle with the old republicans as long as they support equality for all. And my field is in social change behavior. I’ve never seen anything like this group of people. There is not meeting in the middle with MAGA. I have tried this for many years. I think I need to go to a spiritual retreat and regroup and reflect. I’m so discouraged. 😔💔
Excellent video on a very important subject. We are all sales people to some extent. When it is your job you should resonate with the service you are offering. My personal success was by asking enough questions from the customer to completely understand what is the real needs and issues before making any assumptions. Also the step to get the sale was to sell yourself first because a person buys from someone they can relate to.

People take their paychecks and go shopping regularly and buy something NEW and add it to their life, their home, their wardrobe....THAT is a new change. Buying a new outfit and shoes and wearing that over everything else in your closet IS a change and that's one of the easiest things we do! We are not resistant to change...we are resistant to BEING CHANGED by someone or something else outside of our natural desire and motivation. A sales person wants to make the change FOR you ("buy this, not that.....buy now, not later") and THAT is what people resist! That's my own insight, don't steal and make money off it, thanks
The current economy and business model is not compatible with just offering services. Because companies are structured in around selling. The difference between selling and manipulation is the same when you convince yourself that you need something that you don't

I know for experience this is true. If you are perceived as putting good effort in understanding them, they develope a sort of curious respect. This is true with people and animals too. And in the category of people, I've survive encounters with people from CEOs to homeless, to drug dealers. This is a skill, of course. Not a 5 minute craft.
Love this and we need much more awareness brought to this paradigm. This is exactly the ideals and philosophy that resonate so strongly with me, and the practices I want to implement and embody consistently ❤

My favorite new things I heard here were about predation/ narcissists in selling (we’ve all seen those ppl), Teal’s perspective regarding the facilitation of spaces - knowing it’s not going to all be pleasant & becoming masterful in my dance/ relationship with resistance. On Teals website there is a countdown timer under the buy button. Which has no real effect on the price, as the time just resets everytime you visit the page. This sense of fake urgency that is created how is this justified authentically?
Maybe the way is a bit deceiving but at the end of the day you will get a product which she thinks it will give you value so. Plus you paying for content, will help her create better content, which will benefit you and benefit her as well.

David, I also find you difficult to understand what you are saying. Let me try this; Are you saying: people buy from you just because you are awesome in the art of the sales? No change personal perception required? Just your charm. When you use the word, 'keels', I interpret as weight, a load capacity- again, does that mean that your art of the sale puts the weight of the sale on your ability to make a sale?
Asking someone to buy something from me thast they were going to buy anyway doesn't mean that they are changing Could be that they are staying the same from buying from me if the person they were buying from was also as awesome as I am.
